Racist....😜

not at all chocolate is delicious, like Monga`s best play, but no use whatsoever when it stands around waiting for the big fat defender to gobble it up

Ayew does what Ayew does , hold up the ball, the real problem is nobody else in the side wants the ball off him, the wingers stand about like lemons on the wing , the midfield is non existent and Daka is about as much use in support as a chocolate walking stick. makes him look bad and he osn`t great in the first place.

This isn’t the case at all, Ayew holds onto the ball for far too long. He doesn’t release it fast enough, there were countless opportunities to get the ball out to the winger quicker, but he doesn’t do it. He slows the play down and stifles out attack.

A lot of salty Charlton fans on SM think that we are going to get relegated...

Well they’re probably used to watching better teams in League 1.

I’d be pretty salty if I was a Charlton fan to be fair to them - Losing that was very poor from them.

Would take Conor Coventry from Charlton. Was all over the place, good tactical fouls and never gave his man a second to think.

Bit of a dirty player, totally wasted a couple of chances, thankfully for us. No thanks. May as well stick with Choudhary (not a fan of him either)

Yes I agree, he just doesn't pass and never looks like passing.

I think he's the lesser of 2 evils, and agree with him starting at present.

We desperately need a proper striker, Ayew would be good to bring on late when we need to kill the game.

You watched a different game, i saw a bit of both, no options, then as it became clear he was pretty much on his own, losing confidence of a pass and holding on to it too long

I mean as performances go, that was on a par with everything else we’ve chucked out in the past 50 games. It was absolutely dire.

the only plus point is that absolutely dire will probably still get us enough wins this season to stay up.

Another week gone without even so much as a performance.  About 18 months and counting

I didn’t, and I don’t think 90% of this forum did either.

no mate , nobody supports you, just you and me , different opinions and i`m right .

You have a thing about Ayew, i tell it like it is.

As poor as it was, I still think that we could be a lot better with three solid signings to form up that spine. Elements of this team are excellent, but with some glaring weaknesses, but those weaknesses lose you games. If we can get three good deals done before the window closes we have half a chance, if we don’t sign anyone, we’re in deep trouble.

Mate, literally everyone way saying Ayew holds onto the ball far too long and doesn’t release it….. you’re either his dad, or his agent.

Are you his ex wife ? Today nobody gave him an out, Monga didn`t like being roughed up  and didn`t get involved, Fat just lurks on the wing waiting, Midfield support, non whatsoever, and no forwards played off him, so wtf can he do other than keep the ball and play for a foul which he got about 50% of the time. Tell me he`s the wrong player in this line up, I agree, but he does what he`s ben told to do , the problem is he has no support.

Disagree, Ayew had plenty of opportunities to pass to the wingers today but just choose to hold onto it and wait for the foul.

First game against Wednesday 2nd half he could have played Mavididi in who cut inside for a free shot on goal but choose not to.

Preston last week, he could have pulled the ball back, to Winks inside the 18 yard line but again choose to cut back and shot from a very tight angle.

He's the best we have a present but for someone who holds up play well he never passes, just waits for foul, he needs to do more.

We had 2 shots on target in 100 minutes of football lollol

I wouldn't even say our goal was 'quality in front of goal' it was just a piece of individual brilliance.

We were honking in front of goal, created absolutely nothing.

Well if we scored 1 out of 2 shots....I would say that is pretty clinical...

Wasn’t good, but they showed exactly what everyone on here has wanted to see for some time and now we complain.

Defended with their body’s, throwing themselves in front of the ball, digging in, fighting and grinding out a win.

A lot of positives to take out of that I think. The sexy football will come, Marti has hardly been here. Under the cosh away, early kick off under pressure from the fans and they dug in. Good win.

Get a few out, bring a few in, all calm down and we’ll push on. Get behind the lads

Okoli impressed me a lot today. I think that was his best performance for us.

The two in front of the back four are diabolical though. It's vital that we buy someone for that position.

Totally wasted? His shot from outside the box was a lovely effort that stolarcyk had to save, hardly a wasted effort 😂

and a dirty player is what we need, rather than skipp wandering about letting everyone stroll past him.

Went today. Believe me we were absolutely rank, against a side that was playing in League One last year.

Few conclusions:

1. Okoli was rubbish

2. He may not be popular, but Winks is a much better player than the dire Skipp/Soumaré

3. Good to see the academy lads playing, but it’s not fair on them or us to expect them to suddenly constitute the spine of the team

4. We are still an accident waiting to happen playing out from the back. Although it’s the new orthodoxy and the data boyz love it so can’t see it changing

5. My God do we need a proper striker

I don’t know anyone who has said they want Will Still.
