Was really good before his injuries,unfortunately injuries have taken a toil on him,always tried hard and seems like a nice guy! Happy we got 10 mill for him,will be watching how he gets on at Leeds with interest!!

I'm impressed we got that much, but if Leeds get him back to where he was then it's an absolute bargain. Can't believe he's only 27.

 

Meanwhile our full back options are starting to look seriously worrying.

He was always a trier, had some shortcomings but equally did some good things in his time. We have no one better in his position that will be available week in week out and he was versatile. Despite his floors, I think we're going to miss him. Especially at this level.

I want to wish him all the best but that means him being a success at Leeds and personally, I don’t like Leeds.

Less than a week to put together a squad capable of challenging for top 6. I struggle to see it happening based on previous attempts to bring in players at the end of a window.

 

Obviously if we were capable of replacing these players then it'd be fine. Not entirely convinced we will though.

 

I have a feeling we will look back on this late fire sale as being an acceptance that we are a Championship club again.

Yes great deal as would definately have left on a free at the end of this season.

 

A tad sad cos if he gets close to what he was before his injury leeds have got a bargain.

 

Big if though and more wages freed up.

Unlike the previous loans JJ will catch a 2nd wind at Leeds I fear. The change in scenery, management, coaching and a vibrant fan base will have him performing out of his skin.

happy to get the much needed cash for him but I really worry about all these players going to our rivals and doing one over us when we play them next.

I agree we needed to offload many players who where just not putting in , but we can’t rely on kids to A , keep us up , B to even give us a chance to get back to the EPL , again and it happens every window we wait to the last minute and take crap players because there’s nothing else left
