I do agree with the comms that if you win the toss you should only get to choose either the end or first pen.

Used to be that didn't it? Never used to be 2 coin flips anyway.

Never knew there were so many PSG fans here or that Foxes Talk had such an international reach! Seems there's a belief that Arsenal should have played with a show of defending instead of doing it properly and have been sporting enough to let PSG score 6. That they didn't is also apparently Arsenal's fault somehow.

Thank God Arsenal lost and weren't the ones to win by failing to score a single goal in open play, relying on a penalty to equalise and relying on penalties to win the game. If that had happened, some people's heads would surely have exploded. But as it was PSG, that's apparently fine  - in fact I've seen it described as a victory and justice for football! lol

No disgrace and not the trashing that lots were hoping for. PSG move the ball around fantastically well and were always on the front foot. I would have liked us to show more intent in extra time and the attacking subs were dreadful. Still I am really not going to complain about the season overall.

I thought they played it as good as they could tbh trying to hold onto the 1 nil was the best option against a team as good as PSG

Letting a side like PSG have 75% of the ball is only ending one way

Lol at Arsenal.

1 out of 4 isn't bad. Got the title finally they can cry into that cup or console themselves with it.

As a neutral for epl, i hope they dont win the league again, boring ass football.

Looking forward to getting smashed in league one lads? Lol LETS GOOOOOOOO

Tbh I couldn't care less either way about the match and result but it is a bit weird to say PSG relied on a penalty to equalise. They had a good move going and were fouled in the area. A penalty and the resulting goal are their fair reward for that. It's worth no less than an open play goal. I find this modern obsession with penalties somehow being worth less very bizarre.

I've had a dislike of Arsenal ever since they beat us 2-1 in 2016 and acted like they'd won the title, taking selfies in their changing room. Glad they got beat and in the worse possible way, a pen shoot out. Someone should ask Arteta if he's still on fire 😂

1 out of 4 isn't bad at all when it's the League. I'd rather have it as consolation prize, even if that's all you think it's worth, playing boring ass football any day of the week and twice on Tuesday, when the best we have to look forward to is putting together a stunning run in the Vertu Cup.

Gabriel's penalty was obviously high but it was hardly Jaap Stam or Roberto Baggio levels of skied

Surprised that he didn't fall over and appealed for a free-kick tbh..

Arsenal should have won this in 2004. That was their big chance.

PSG are a fantastic side but you cannot sit on a lead from five minutes in. I think the game was there for them.

PSG probably should have got a penalty for handball which was more obvious yet they spent most of the evening talking about Arsenal's denied pen, which was more 50/50.

Saka probably could have got pulled up for that double handball on another day but generally VAR seemed happy enough to go with the ref for key decisions which is good

Arsenal were pretty average tonight, started pretty decent in the first half. Second half pretty negative and seemed happy to sit back and defend. Far from great a final, both teams lacked quality and both teams seemed very edgy and cagey, seemed nervous to gamble and try something different.

Thank god them lot didn't win it. Seen loads complaining about the ref whilst blissfully ignoring the blatant Saka handballs.

And Mosquera not getting a second yellow.

Give over. Nothing to do with likes ffs. Couldn't care less and I'm surprised you bring that up for no reason. Wtf man?!

Almost guaranteed to happen and you know it. Nothing 'mad' about it given social media in this day and age. So many berks on the Internet and it's bound to happen.
