Some people make it sound like he’s not played in a team with Muslims before.

And just for the record, he has. And everyone was very professional..

Maybe in the dressing room. But what about off the pitch? Leeds fans continually sung a song about him which referenced the thing we're not allowed to talk about. While I wouldn't want compare our fan base to Leeds, we have our fair share of knuckle heads as well and it would hardly be a way of bringing harmony back to the club

every team, everywhere will find things about their own players to be unhappy about and all will feel justified. Just look at the venom we throw towards some of ours!. It’s part of football. Opposition fans will do the same. Again, it’s part of football.

The recent left winger rumours makes me think all is not well with Mavididi..

Could also be that we're looking to bring in a player comfortable playing on the left to play a left sided CAM role.

Or we want to relieve some pressure on Monga by allowing him to play more central, where he is supposedly stronger.

Or we plan to play Mavadidi more central.

Or none of these links have any weight to them whatsoever just like most of the rubbish journalists spout.

We can't make any inferences based on heavily unreliable and incomplete information.

Seems to certainly meet Marti's test of improving what we currently have. I'd be very excited by this signing. It's a yes from me.

For what it's worth, I think it's more rubbish media nonsense and the club has absolutely no intention of doing a deal. Shame.

Absolute class at this level.

We'll have the same issue with him as we do with our other "strikers", in that we give them rubbish service. At least if we do fathom a chance, he can finish...

Oh we’d 100% have the usual type trying to start that song.

Because they'll have the same nonsense we had on here when the rumours started.

I don’t think theirs will be anywhere near the level we had.

I don’t understand why people are against this. He’s a human being, and not responsible for the thing we are not allowed to talk about. As far as I am aware hasn’t shown any public support for it either.

He would be an amazing signing.

Not wanting to sign someone based on nationality, religion etc is so unbelievably backwards.
