All in all he's clearly forced his way out, doesn't want to be here. £30m deal (roughly?) is fair for both sides, he really isn't as good as most make him out to be in the English leagues, will probably do better in Germany i'd expect. 
If even 10% of a player at this club wants to leave they need to go. 110% committed to the badge and the club or go.

Any chance that it’s to help his development and his chances of inclusion for the World Cup and IF we secure promotion he’s back with us next season? Otherwise why not permanent? 
 

Is there a loan fee? Otherwise, other than saving his wage it’s not helping this seasons ffp doodah calculation thingy.


Just wish this had been sorted in July and we hadn’t wasted pre-season games factoring him in. Gives us 3 hours to find a replacement, ta for that.

 

EDIT - Just seen the above post, nope we  aren’t seeing him again!

Good luck to the lad. He's got all the talent needed. Pleased to get over £30m for him considering he's never really provided goals or assists here.

 

Hopefully we can bring in a few before the deadline (James, Ramsey and a left back) and crack on now.

best of luck to him. Clearly a talented boy. Don't really have this ill feeling a lot of fans do when, especially if the player is joining a club in the Champions League etc. Is what it is.
