So how are we all feeling now the window has closed.

Personally think it has been decent. We have had many outgoings, in fact prob twice as many as i would have expected, based on past windows. Yes a few of the ones going out i wouldnt have minded staying but we NEEDED a refresh and the like of JJ & Ndidi (who i liked both) really did need to go. 

 

There are pro's and con's and i know we still have some players we would like to have shifted, but then some of these players have stepped up this season (not saying i wouldn't have been happy if they had moved, or that they wont goto shit again.) There was no way we were going to get rid of all of them.

 

We have also managed in the dying moments of the window to have got loans out for Alves and Braybrooke which is going to be so much better for their career's than hanging about in the u23's. It may seem that they both have stagnated (not perhaps the right word) but have not met upto expectations? But we need to remember they still only really young so a good loan for them both will do wonders.  

 

Before i get crushed about being a Happy clapper or Rudkin lover, i am not. In fact there is a Rudkin out thread and i just wanted to see what everyones thoughts were on this window alone. 

 

 Overall i think its been a success

Which positions would this be? Still look to have two players for each position to me.

That’s a very good window. Amazing, isn’t it? We got a manager in,  after all. We got a kit, after all. We got some players out, after all. We got some players in, after all. And the universe didn’t actually end because we hadn’t done it before July was out. Who’d have guessed that? 😏

I’m pleased with a lot of the outs. Happy with the two midfielders. I know nothing about the new striker and that’s the bit most concerning really. Still feels like no proper goal threat up front but fingers crossed this lad comes good.

All in all. I’m a lot happier than I was this morning. With recent deadline day non events I wasn’t overly optimistic about signing anyone let alone 3. 
 

We’ve also managed to strengthen our PSR position whilst getting rid of some players whose time here had been long overdue, for more reasons than one.

I think it's obvious that Rudkin has had some help or even  ot been involved . Its a complete change and just shows how bad Rudkin has been previously. Time will tell but after 2 games I thought our season was over but now more optimistic.

If the 3 new lads click straight away with fatawu and mav/ monga we could be in for a fun season. 3 new signings will give some of the current lads a boost as well hopefully
