fox_favourite Posted 4 January Posted 4 January (edited) Personally, we need a strong character in. Someone who has been there and done it to get these wet wipes into shape and lead on the pitch. Alas this should have been done in the summer. Maybe Antonio will show some balls? Edited 4 January by fox_favourite

Collymore Posted 4 January Posted 4 January (edited) Going to throw a few strikers into the hat. August Priske (young Danish forward who's been smashing them in for Djurgarden) also looks a proper unit and good in the air Dominic Ballard (young striker at Leyton Orient. A goal machine in a poor side) Issue is these would maybe take £2m to £3m which we're likely won't have for a while but it really annoys me the money we blew on Coulibaly etc which could have been invested so much more shrewdly. kingfox Posted 5 January Posted 5 January Surely we should be in the mix for this, Watford also linked with Soler from Bournemouth too.

Watford just being greedy now with Wiley for a second season then jumping on another young left back whilst we are dealing with Thomas! Not impressed @Super_horns

Guest BlueApple Posted 6 January Posted 6 January Nothing but random suggestions because we have nothing to go on but Devin Haen, a striker for Willems II, he's only 21 and has been playing well this season (although the Eerste Division isn't the best). He only signed in the summer but I can't imagine he'd be hard to get for a relatively small amount. He's quick and can finish basically and our strikers offer nothing.
South Shire Fox Posted 6 January Posted 6 January (edited) A mobile left back on loan is priority with a striker imo. Harry Amass Edited 6 January by South Shire Fox 1
Vindaloo FOX Posted 6 January Posted 6 January I would go for a cheeky bid for Karlan Grant, his contract is up in the summer. Not had the best season but i think he would do well here.
KFS Posted 6 January Posted 6 January Agree with loans.Striker and LB, possibly RB and GK. Anything to stop conceding. Would be really nice to sell deadwood, even just one player: Faes, Winks, Kristiansen, Vestergaard, Choudhury, Soumare, Daka
Popular Post kingfox Posted 6 January Popular Post Posted 6 January Shame we probably have no money to make a couple of transfers for players out of contract in the summer, just like Derby have done with Oscar Fraulo. But we have three loan spots available to fill a matchday squad, maybe four depending on Ramsey’s situation. Many positions need rectifying, but ST, LB and CM are the three most problematic positions imo. LB - Harry Amass CM - Dan Neil ST - Joel Piroe Simple. 5
Chief Keef Posted 6 January Posted 6 January We need Leo’s. Leo Castledine Leo Cornic Leo Walta The more I watch us the more I feel most of the squad would benefit from a 3 at the back formation. If we can shift Faes I’d want to replace him with someone like Daylam Meddah who’s playing for Pau in the French second tier. Athletic, aggressive and excellent on the ball. As for the striker we need someone who can occupy both centre backs. Kieron Bowie would be my pick. But this is assuming we can/will spend anything.

RealAleMadrid Posted 6 January Posted 6 January First time post, so be gentle. New striker option: lyndon dykes. - tall, strong CF - knows Marti (both ex-QPR) - not getting game time at Birmingham, needs it to ensure Scotland WC squad place - i hear is actively looking for a move Could add the know how/bit of leadership up front we so desperately need? 1

Guppy Posted 7 January Posted 7 January Leo Castledine apparently available for £1m. Would be an ideal replacement for Ramsey, and I bet his loan fee was more than that! Although looks like he might go Watford. A bargain if true. 1

Sadly we've spent the money on Nick De Marco hoping he'll get us off the hook again, after trying to capture lightning in a bottle again.
