I’ll take a point after being down to 10 men but we need to massively improve.

Playing 75 minutes with ten men and coming from behind with ten men is the positive to take. Cannot fault the effort from the players.

If Cifuentes starts those two clowns together again, he needs his head seeing to. Ricardo, Winks and James are all proper footballers, internationals all. I want to see them start in future, not come on to save a game sabotaged by one of the most persistently unproductive and talentless midfield pairings we have ever had.

I like Marti, he's saying all the right things, but what is his obsession with Jordan ****ing Ayew? should be removed for not suiting the game state the moment the red came out, instead sticks with him right to the 90 and then brings on Bobby Reid?

 

Needs to be the end of the Skippmare experiment. Soumare has one good game in ten and Skipp looks like a competition winner.

Ayew was one of our better player. He is guilty of holding on to the ball sometimes but for the most part, he looked like the only Leicester player who was interested in getting us up the field or taking a shot.

Fatawu limped off the previous game and he still needs looking after. Once the sending off happened i felt it wasn't the game for Monga anymore, so Bobby gets some minutes to see the game out. Page is recovering from an injury and will likely feature heavily the next few games. Nelson - i suppose he is behind Okoli / Faes and Jannik - so something needs to give as when picking the squad for this game we didnt need so many CB's.

His decisions worried me today. Page and Nelson left out completely - not sure if they’re injured ?
 

Taking off both wingers in the last 15 when they were tiring and bringing on BCDR instead of Monga. 
 

Riccy and Winks coming on was right but one, if not both should’ve started. 
 

You can’t get them right all the time. But the safe options today were not right and especially given Monga’s impact in the last few games. 
 

Post international break, I expected to see a bit more but it was (what is becoming the norm) patchy sloppy start followed by a pick up post Winks intro.

But football is not like that on any given day. Under the circumstances an away draw after going down to 10 men after 25 minutes or so is not so bad. If you can't win don't lose and we didn't

Yeah he does but I can’t see it while Faes is here unfortunately . Luckily there is plenty of games in the championship so if he does get in the side he could get a decent run of games in

Considering I’d written them off at half time, the second half was surprisingly good. Happy with a point under the circumstances. Thought Ayew had a good match, and the new lads look promising.

Can't read too much into league position at this point. But obviously it is a disappointing result against someone we'd expect to beat. 

 

A point playing with 10 men away from home, after going behind twice, is never a bad point.

Do us a favour. We are second (and probs end of day top 6) and we haven't even remotely got going yet. Barely into second gear.

Well with all things considered, that’s a decent point for us away from home. 10 men for nigh on 70 odd minutes. Never a red card, we can blame the referee for costing us two points there. If we had eleven we would have won the game comfortably.

 

Much better 2nd half but it raises questions about why Ricardo and Winks aren't starting. Managed to get some semblance of control in the game for us with ten men. Which is rare regardless of level.

 

I think the posters on here that are expecting slick performances & big away wins at this stage of the season need to temper their expectations. We are not where we are two seasons ago yet. Patience is required & our players will make mistakes. Otherwise they wouldn't be here.
