South Shire Fox Posted 8 November 2025 Posted 8 November 2025 Papering over the cracks. Only have any actual sort of attacking intent as soon as we go behind. Just a negative shite manager. Puel 2.0 2
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 8 November 2025 Posted 8 November 2025 Still needs to go. If not, he needs to be telling them we are 1 nil down at kick off. 1
Muzzy_no7 Posted 8 November 2025 Posted 8 November 2025 He should still go but he’s just brought himself the next 3 fixtures.
Mickyblueeyes Posted 8 November 2025 Posted 8 November 2025 Yes a win. But so many issues again. He still doesn’t know his best 11 or style. 2

If we win today, he should still go, but I doubt they will give him the boot. But I do not decide like a sheep, so I won't apologise for holding my own council until I do decide. He’s safe unfortunately after that. More misery to come! It’s not being a sheep either pal it’s being honest and if you watch the games your brain surely tells you it’s not very good 😂
coolhandfox Posted 8 November 2025 Posted 8 November 2025 I the club has a brain they will still move him on. 1
winteriscoming Posted 8 November 2025 Posted 8 November 2025 Great. So the way we’re going our next win will be around Xmas or new year. Get rid asap.

Pliskin Posted 8 November 2025 Posted 8 November 2025 He still needs to go. Everything hasn’t changed just because James has nodded one in against a team that are getting stuffed more than one of Delia’s Christmas turkeys! All the same issues are still there, we just happened to play a team who are genuinely worse than us, yet somehow looked slightly better for most of the game…….. 1
Lambert09 Posted 8 November 2025 Posted 8 November 2025 (edited) Pulled off a real Steve cooper, where the players have got a result despite the tactics rather than because of them Edited 8 November 2025 by Lambert09

Reverse psychology works everytime l😂 🤣 posted at 1 1 then we go and win two one 😂 🤣
BrilliantFox Posted 8 November 2025 Posted 8 November 2025 Our idiot owner is going to keep him now isnt he? Its always short term thinking with Top and Rudkin.
urban.spaceman Posted 8 November 2025 Posted 8 November 2025 He needs to make like a tree and get out of here.

TheGoldenGod Posted 8 November 2025 Posted 8 November 2025 I'm actually proud of FT tonight. I thought the thread was going to be HOT because people were gonna be arguing because we won but I'm glad to see this absolutely papered over another shite performance against a terrible side. Hobbled over the line!

whoareyaaa Posted 8 November 2025 Posted 8 November 2025 If he drops Ayew and Skipp and moves to the team that finished the game today then it shows why you give managers time, especially with what we have got to work with
Mickyblueeyes Posted 8 November 2025 Posted 8 November 2025 (edited) Jakub/Begovic Ricardo Nelson/Okoli Vestegaard/Okoli (unfortunately) Thomas/Aluko Winks James BCDR Fatawu Daka/Carranza Mavididi/Monga That is your starting 11. The ones without a / are the ones that should be starting if fit. All this Ayew on the wing. James in the 10. Skipp the headless chicken etc. leave it at the door. There is goals, creativity and competitiveness in that group. Get on with it. The thing is, I don’t think he will. That’s why he needs to go. Edited 8 November 2025 by Mickyblueeyes

No. Beating a side with such little confidence doesn't suddenly make us promotion candidates. Didn't see any clear idea from Marti in the first half. His substitutions clearly impacted a poor tactical approach from the first half. He will need to use this momentum. He needs to win against Stoke and Southampton to prove he's the man for the job.
