Look he took a pay cut to come to us.

He didn't get the full compensation when he left QPR.

If I remember right a few on here wanted Liam Manning.

Ps: We can't afford to sack him and points deduction looming. So buckle up people he's here for a bit longer.

Devils and all that

The play at the end the drive to equalise & then win where did that come from, was that players doing there own thing or doing what Marti wants?

I saw them doing what we hear him talking about so is it the players not him?

Yes he’s fully culpable for playing Ayew but other than him who needs to be changed in today’s game, easy to say Page Evans but they are not the answer just yet, with the injury to Ramsey and now Nelson/Okoli are bench really isn’t that strong.

I will hope Aluko is now an option with the injuries, he certainly should be and for me is the 1 of the young lads who is ready but we are limited in our midfield & forward options unless posters are hiding players from me.

Skipp is more of an issue than Ayew mate, we have been utter dross playing that formation under the last two managers, no need for that position esp in the championship and your options are Skipp and Soumare.

Obviously Ayew should not be starting either, great for seeing a game out but not a starter/

Every time i wonder if Marti could be manager we could get behind I think about him playing Ayew over Mavididi or Faes over Nelson or anyone over Skipp and I just can't fathom it.

That said. Aiya-twat out.

The squad still needs major surgery, with half of them at least not wanting to be here. He is just about keeping us ticking along. I dont think a managerial change is required at the moment. It is at the top of the chain where the problems clearly lie.

I am at peace with not bouncing straight back. We need to get our shit together first. New owners possibly, definitely a new director of Football and a replacement for Whelan. Then players on a wages that fit their ability on sensible contracts, possibly with Marti or a new gaffer by then.

Bouncing back? Not even in my thought process… do you realise how bad it is we could definitely go down with the points deduction.

problems are higher up we know they, but Marti is an awful manager. Today’s win buys his three more games which is really bad news.

The fact he keeps playing Ayew as a starter is unfathomable. Playing JJ as a 10 doesn't get the best out of him. There was, once again, little evidence of that pressing and attacking he promised us when he got here.

He needs to go, this result sadly changes nothing.

Nah defo Ayew is the biggest issue & then what formation do you want because most formations have a 3 in midfield and with the injury to Ramsey  we are forced to play either Skipp, Soumare or Hamza.

Marti knows are strongest 3 are Winks, James & Ramsey what should he do?

Not sure any of us really want to see Hamza bombing around, there is an argument for playing Ricardo & ideally Aluko at RB but then that still means Thomas on the Left & I’m hearing he’s not popular atm.

Because all 3 of today’s players are classed as 6s we aren’t actually sitting with 2 of them just outside our box.

Ayew should not be starting either like I just said in my edit... you play BDCR in a 10 and have Winks and James in the middle its not hard.

Hamza can cover Ricardo at RB.

Let’s not claim that we never groaned when BDCR came on, that said he was really good but can he do it for 90mins or is he as probably most will think an impact sub?

Yes if we had a game this week most of us & probably Marti would have BDCR as the 10 off the back of today’s game but then we all groan with his replacement right?

The point I’m making is that the current options are limited at some point all the players we whinge at will end up on the pitch…..except Ayew he doesn’t need to fill a position ever again

Yup that's why we need a couple of windows any new manager would take the same amount of time to work out a winning formula with this squad.

I think it was actually Bernard Manning as he had potential to turn the air blue and that may have encouraged the players.

Can’t let a 15 minute spell delay the inevitable.
Dour for another 75 minutes. Only started playing when 1-0 down.
5 wins in 15! In the championship.
no tactics, no idea how to play, can’t set a team up from start to win. Move him on now and give a new manager 2 weeks to use the international break wisely.

It was still a largely poor performance.

What I will say, is what I accused them of against Boro they did, stuck some balls into the box and won the game…..

But, it comes against a team in terrible form.

The majority of the game we were second best, still the same terrible attempt to play, missed place passes all over the place and a complete lack of attacking threat.

I’m putting it down to the players taking the initiative themselves…..

Its more than likely spared Marti getting the sack, but it was a particularly weak Norwich side….. we will now spend another international break inflicting more damage, and will likely get beaten by Stoke when we’re back.

Today’s result should be disregarded due to the opponent, the performance was still majorly concerning and we were still very poor for large periods of the game.

He should be dismissed in my opinion…. One result shouldn’t change this.

I hate the majority of this squad but the football is ****ing honking and that’s on him. I’m convinced there’s someone out there who’ll be able to get a tune out of them.

Problem is I have absolutely no faith in our dickhead board appointing the right person.

This is absolutely spot on!

No. It isn't.

The players under Marti, that he needs to get a tune out of, consistently travel in from as far away as Hampshire. They couldn't care less about Leicester. It's just a job until their contracts finish and they can move on somewhere else.

Winks is a prime example. He clearly wanted a move away. When it didn't happen he started celebrating goals again. He will be gone in the Summer unless we get Prem football.

I don't think there are many managers in the world that could get this lot playing. And while that's the case I'd rather keep Marti and save the money it would cost sacking him.

This season is going to be horrible but somehow we've got to put up with it and hope we can be shrewd in the transfer Market both in January and the Summer
