The way games go reminds me of Cooper in many ways.

Essentially Cooper set up to keep it 0-0 for as long as possible, and when that inevitably went to shit his gameplan went out the window and we'd attempt to get forward.  Sometimes it worked, it often didn't, but it was in spite of the game plan.

Marti isn't setting up to keep it tight., but he is just setting up to play possession for the sake of it, and we often concede as a result and then the gameplan goes out and we up our tempo.  Which is the tempo we should be playing at from the start.  But it's often too little too late.

If Norwich don't score, or at least don't score with half an hour left, they get a result because we don't start playing until we're behind.

Cifuentes needs to help himself even if he prefers two deeper midfielders by moving James deeper and playing an alternative 10. James offers so much all over the pitch and Reid (or even Ayew if Reid needs subbing) needs to be trusted to play the 10 role.

The guy hasn’t got what it takes. His tactics and selection in the first half showed no identity, quality or structure. Against the side that are in worse form than us we still looked abject.

AIYAWATT OUT !!!

NOTHING WILL CHANGE UNTIL THEN

COOPER OUT ?

RVN OUT ?

MARTI OUT ?

3 shit managers though !!!!!!

I hoped Marti and the players got pelters still when then went to the fans at the end.

Norwich worse than us which I couldn't believe possible. This result does us more harm than good. The happy clappers have got a boost for another 10 games now and Marti will have some pressure released which he doesn't deserve because we are awful.

BDCR will look like the answer when we know he isn't.

Norwich are performing as the worst team in the Championship over the last 10 games in every metric. Sheffield Wednesday should have beat them last game.

Out.

I think the changes could have come sooner but at least Bobby knows how to hit the ball cleanly great finish. Norwich have paper thin confidence and after that it was all Leicester but great finish from James. Can’t see the point of changing manager as long as he learns from formulas that work and the team that finished today looked OK. Feel sorry for Nelson however

If he ever starts Ayew again then it’s out.

Offers nothing on the wing, better options at 10 & I’d rather Daka starts up front out of the 3 senior options

Yes a win. But so many issues again. He still doesn’t know his best 11 or style.

I think he knows a style to play. But it's not the right style for the players we have.

Square pegs and round holes and all that.

Depends what you mean by change. I think if we'd lost today it would have been difficult for him to carry on, but i don't really blame him.

I think this squad is terrible - especially in both boxes. None of our strikers can score and I think our best way to win is to just sh*thouse every game. But a lot of our fans still can't accept how bad our squad is, even though they all complain about how bad it is. They say he doesn't know his best eleven; yet none of us do - they're all equally as bad.

If our strikers literally cannot score, it doesn't matter what patterns of play or fancy tactics we try to play if we're guaranteed to concede.

We were one of the worst teams in premier league history last year. The only reason we weren't a total embarrassment was because of Mads in goal, Ndidi in midfield and Vardy upfront. They've all left and haven't been replaced. And a lot of people seem to think that a bunch of teenagers who have just finished their GCSE's and A-levels are the answer when they probably aren't.

But he doesn't help himself with things like continually playing James in an advanced role.

Hopefully he has stumbled on to a winning formula with the team at the end of the game, IF he doesn't see this then he can go as far as I am concerned we can't keep persisting with Skip and Ayew or even Ricardo at left back.

For sure, its been diabolical no doubt about that, but there are reason beyond the managers control, and I realise we cannot sack all the players or the board, but out recent managerial changes hardly instill confidence in those that do the hiring do they?

No I agree we keep hiring bad managers and the board needs to be changed ASAP!

Super frustrating to see that we can still show the hustle and bustle when we need too, so please let our play after Norwich scored be the template for us moving forward.

Players who put in a shift, in this squad, are always going to stand out. But he did brilliantly today.

I can't say my feelings on the manager have changed at all, and certainly not on the club as a whole, or even the players. I'm not sure the timing would be right to fire the manager, as much as it seems to be on the cards at some point or other.

There'll be a feeling that the final phase of today's game could be a turning point, or even a blueprint for the way forward, so it's unlikely they'll pull the plug now - especially given our financial problems and the far more pressing 'upstairs' issues that need resolving.

Until they are, I'd have very little faith in their ability to find an upgrade on Cifuentes.

Who do you want at left back?

Still don't rate him, and I hope a win against a shite team doesn't paper over a crack for longer. I won't be a flip flop and change my mind after one win.

He needs to bin Ayew off, he's shite. Worrying how he can't get a team together which he's happy with for a few games in a row.

I want him to succeed but I can't see it still right now

This keeps coming up.

There is no team you can pick from this bunch that any manager would be happy with. Any potential line up includes at least 3 pr1cks, often more. The manager cant magic that away.

I think deep down most of us hope the academy can be used to move us on from the pr1cks. Might be able to start migrating to that when the youth World Cups are over.

Maybe today was the turning point, if we don't start with the team that finished the game then you can blame the manager.

we lost six key players and replaced them with one making a difference it's hard to come across a formula when you only have so much to work with.

Probably the best we can field, sadly. Not picking Skipp and Ayew is a must.
