I'd be very surprised to see him gone. Three losses on the spin and a run of one win in 10 didn't seem to put him in any real danger, so as poor as today was I can't see it being the end of him after the Derby and Ipswich wins. Despite everything, the squad has enough about it to pick up enough results like those that we are stuck with him for the foreseeable imo

He may have stamped out some negative culture, but certain elements on the pitch continue to get worse. 
 

Our attacking data is mediocre, while our defensive data is some of the worst in the league. 
 

If he continues to show zero signs of improving our defence, then he surely gets sacked.

We have so many players just going through the motions looking at the exit door.

 

As soon as shit hits the fan, they fold.

 

Sack the manager by all means, but I don't expect anybody remotely interesting to come in and there isn't a manager out there who most of these players will play for, while at this club.

There will still be the usual 12-14,000 King Power FC zombies at the ground on Boxing Day clapping the team out for the pre match training and sipping hot flasks while a couple hundred belt out When you’re Smiling.

Can't keep churning out performances where the game is done by half time or make things so difficult for ourselves. 

 

Fvck knows what he does with the players during the week.

nah come on, if performances were there this season, most of us would give him more of a chance

but we've had what 5/6 good half this season out of 22 league games,

there is no defending MC

 

like he didnt even make subs at HT today, there is no defence of him,

he needs to go

A bit surprised there's as much traction behind the idea of sacking him again. 7 points from 9 going into the game and most observations on the squad and XI before kick off was positive. Having said that, wasn't at the game so assuming individual player brilliance didn't mitigate tactical misgivings this time. 

 

I still can't muster the passion to see the back of Marti this side of a new leadership team (or ownership, ideally) though. Aiyawatt replaced Whelan and Rudkin with himself and the supply chain manager - both downgrades and speaks to his wider judgement. There's worse than Marti out there and Aiyawatt definitely has it in him to appoint them. I'll be ****ed if Winks, Bouba and Daka get another "fresh start" too.

What’s the point in sacking him. We’re not going to get promoted. It’d just be a complete waste of money. Money we clearly need to pay our staff after Xmas. 🙄

 

take the points deduction! Limp on until summer. Get rid of the waste of space players. Get the technical director in. Get a new manager in. And reset then.

Is there any evidence we are anywhere near getting a technical director in?

 

We should still be aspiring to do the best we can right now. This isnt it.

Let's be honest, even if we replaced him and had an uptick in form, aren't we just papering over the cracks of what must be the worst football ownership model in England? There is just no way back for Top and we won't be able to move forward until the club is sold.

We gave up aspiring quite sometime ago 

 

we’re getting sweet FA from this season. We need a complete reset in the summer
