I wanted it to work out and give marti time but after 4 months there is very little to suggest a Pearson style renaissance under him.

It's hard to know how any manager could come in and work wonders under this setup

You certainly would have next to no confidence in Topkin spotting a good manager anyway.

He'll be gone before the new year. Our December is crap. Three away games and a tricky home game to start - all very loseable.

I think we lose the next 3 and he'll be gone.

I don’t think he survives after Saturday if we don’t win.

Not enough noise for it to be that sudden. A defeat to Derby, after losing to Sheffield Utd will put him on the brink and then the quick turnaround will probably mean he gets Bristol City who'll dispatch us and they'll panic.

It'll come a point that they'll have to make a decision to convince a new manager if required before the points deduction is announced, if we get one.

Can we get in touch with Ant & Dec and see if they want to re-release we're on the ball for LCFC? It's Faes to Vesty, Vesty to Bego, Bego to Ricky, Ricky to Faes! Faes into JJ, JJ to Winksy, Winksy to Vesty, own goal! 5-1!

He is not the problem. People wanted Copper out and we ended up with Ruud. We have a very poor squad. It will change when the dross goes next summer and we can start getting it stabilized. I dread to think who would come next.

I sympathise with this point, but there has to be a balance between us as a fanbase knowing the squad has many rubbish players, and the manager needs to show us why he is the one we can trust to rebuild at one of the most important periods in the clubs history. Right now the opposite is happening.

I dunno, they were good in the derby but I've seen enough of them to know they have been pretty bad this season. Even in some of the games they've picked up three points in they have been very rough.

We actually do still look good in patches unfortunately they are surrounded by lengthy spells of being bang average to utter shite.

That may be so but why not stick with him until we have a real chance of doing something. Anyone who comes in would have to be as daft as a brush. We have fallen so far and we really are not the dream ticket we were a few seasons ago. There are glimmers of hope. Begovic capable. James has been decent

The lad that is injured now looked okay Caranza. Jury out. It is not totally hopeless but difficult to polish a turd!

These clowns will keep him as long as we’re only a few points off the playoff places.
He’s still here after 3 wins in 13 so I’m not that convinced he’s under any sort of pressure that he should be.
It took us the best part of 3-4 months to get him in after relegation.
I really don’t have much hope these will have anyone readily lined up should we get rid.
We are reactive rather than being proactive.

The problem is, all they will do is go out and get someone even worse.

You can sack him fine he deserves it, shouldn't have even been given the job in the first place compared to some of the other managers in the frame. Where they end up going next is anyone's guess. Their last three appointments have not made any sense for a variety of different reasons. I mean even Maresca was short term thinking and only worked because he jumped ship once we were up, if we tried playing his brand of football in the PL......well it'd probably still be better than Ruud but you know what I am saying lol

I’d love our leadership to be watching Arsenal Bayern tonight, the two best teams in the world right now, playing out a classic so far.

Goal 1 - Set piece

Goal 2 - Rapid direct football, long ball up to a winger

The football they obsess over is done… move on… get with the program!!

The real question, sitting midtable in the league, is whether Marti has shown enough to justify keeping his job.  I'm not expecting perfection, and yes the squad is weaker than last time we were in the Championship. But still, can we honestly say Marti has had a positive impact?  I’m open to an honest discussion with any supporter who believes he still deserves backing, and I’d like to hear what evidence they see that supports his continuation. I think we've seen enough to say we need a change. I like Marti and was excited about his appointment and if I were seeing genuine improvements in the team’s identity, intensity, and overall performance I'd be inclined to give him more grace to keep going. But right now, the squad doesn’t look fit enough to press, nor is it set up or encouraged to play with the necessary intensity to win. We look lazy, unstructured, and one dimensional. The buck stops with Marti, when its not working he needs to be fixing it and it hasnt been working for weeks. He needs to go.

I think most of us have given up with this season . There's a group of Championship matches tonight but at the time of posting, the Championship thread hasn't had a post for 11 hours

Edit: Well, it was the case....

King will get it on an interim. He’ll do ok, get the crowd on side, then the board will appoint him permanently and in no time at all he’ll undo his legendary status here and get his marching orders. I’d almost not want him anywhere near it to protect him.

If we are going to sack yet another manager, let's at least do it properly. Let's first employ the best Technical Director we can afford abd attract. Then we allow him to fully understand the club dynamics, current squad, finances. Then he makes a recommendation to the rest of the board about direction of travel and the manager to implement the vision on the pitch.

The new Tech Director will probably be a yes man and probably be agent recommend, but it would still be the right way to do things and we all want Aiya (t)watt to do things the right way if he insists on hanging around.

This is the way, but I think there is a lot of short sightedness on here from too many people who only start caring when we losing and then cant look past the manager.

Andy King does not deserve what would come if he got the job. I don't see us going down but I am just about as sure we will not go up so someone who can just steady the ship until the summer is what we meed. To axe the manager would be pointless and would cost us more money. Who in their right mind would want this job at the moment?

So, he’s got us 15th in the league. Dropped points against relegation fodder. Spanked by saints. No style, no tactics, no clue. No other club would stand for it. But we do. Why ? Because now the buzz word is the technical director. He’s got to make the call when he gets here.

It requires Khun Rat Bastard and his furry friend to act swiftly in appointing one. Problem is, it took them 3 months to hire this guy.

So the likelihood, after we wrote off a season last year around mid Jan - maybe earlier. We might have to write off another season this year. Two seasons in a row. How are we still got retards clamouring for teddies

Khun Rat Bastard made me laugh more than it should have!
