Pivotal three games for Marti. And you can tell he’s going to start wrong….

Millwall should have been the confirmation that he was looking for regarding who he can and can’t trust in this team…. Yet he has fallen foul as Cooper did and RVN of just picking the safe options, even though they’ve never been safe options……

To certain extent I feel for him, but in the same breath he isn’t helping himself either. If ever there was a game to introduce some more academy players, it was today…..

I however predict no wins in the next three, and Marti gone after Norwich.

Your too kind

Cut out the rubbish passing about at the back and move the ball quicker. Id love us to play two up front, but then i look at the options and grimace.

Jakub needs to be hitting far quicker long balls at least some of the time

My first match in person since cov, crazy we have only won 1 since then and that wasn’t at home. Though I guess we haven’t lost at home either.

Hoping to see a bit of energy but I know that might be a bit too much.

Trouble is our front men are all midgets and never really win anything in the air.

Imagine the scenes when his only change is to replace Ramsey with Soumaré. lol

It’s what I am expecting to see. It’s criminal that Alkuo is not even the squad!

It seems like Cifuentes has fallen into the trap RVN fell into.

Big up the youth team and youth prospects, but the form on the pitch is so bad that it now means he can't rely on them or give them a run out because of their inexperience. He probably deems it too risky.

In actual fact, it probably works the other way? Less pressure on them, expose them to challenging circumstances in what is already a difficult league to compete in, and then see how they respond. There's probably less to lose?

We'd all love him to start Aluko and Nelson but I think the realist in all of us knows that it won't happen.

He'll stick with Faes, he'll bring in Soumare, he'll persist with Daka and Ayew. He'll give them another chance to prove themselves to him. Same old rinse and repeat patterns emerging with Cifuentes both on and off the pitch.

Given we don't have a number 10 why don't we just stick 2 of our crap forwards up front and hope that they can combine, power ranger style, into the equivalent of one championship level forward.

It'll either be Ayew in the 10, Carranza 9.  Or JJ 10, Ayew up top.

Good times.

When people say. “why do you go”, I say “I want to be there when Monga scores his first goal at home”. Maybe today will be that day. Maybe Caranza  will show something, Mavididi will start taking people on again. I have faith in James, Ricardo, keeper’s OK and Fatawu, on his day, and let’s not forget having had 8 or so months out is doing well considering.

But those shoots of optimism will likely all be blunted by the realisation that constant bomb-scare cocker-uppers will be handed places and devalue the badge before a ball is kicked. In-effective players will occupy key positions, we’ll be flat, blunt and uninspiring.

I’d take an ugly 1-0 as a start of a salvaging rescue job on the season but right now struggle to see even that.

Get him gone as soon as. He is making Cooper look like a tactical genius.  He won’t change his style of play other wise he would’ve done it by now.  He averaged a goal a game at QPR.

Jakub seems scared to launch the ball quickly for someone to run onto but is confident at booting it to the opposition when they piss around the back.  JV is too slow out the back and everyone slots into the simple pass but inviting the press on to others.  20 passes later Fatawu and Monga get the ball on the half way line and are expected to skin everyone while they all stand back and admire the step overs.  When they pass quickly they can actually attack.

He will play the chuckle brothers at the back, Stevie Wonder in midfield and let us witness the famous Ayew hold up never release play. While he hasn’t got great choices, you would think he should be able to coach or drill something positive into them, not this dross.

Start nelson.  if fit, start evans.  Stay in the championship until these players are experienced and we are competitive.

Update: Jake Evans is not available to play for Leicester City (LCFC) at the moment because he has been called up to represent England at the Under-17s World Cup in Qatar. He is not injured and is otherwise fit to play

Good times.

With Ayew dropping into the area JJ and Monga play, stinking out the play and if he decides to pass and break is on, leaving no target up top.

Buzzing for this. Cant wait to hear “Champions of England, you’ll never sing that” sung with gusto. That’ll shut their fans up.

Your city is blue your city is bluoo just like Lesta your city is blue
