Juan Carlos Carcedo has exercised his right to buy out his remaining contract and that of his two assistants today.

I follow Pafos FC reasonably closely and he’s transformed them into a Champions League qualifying side… albeit getting beaten and having to play in their rival’s ground as theirs isn’t up to standard.

If we want a project builder then he could be a great pick - has Marty gone already and he’s on his way???

Would be great if we did go down this route but given the past history I very much doubt if Aiyawatt and Rudkin have ever heard of him, let alone have then on their radar.

He's bought out his contract because he's going to Spartak Moscow.

Not sure he is even a manager anymore, is he?

he’s talked about wanting to “ progress in my management career”, but I don’t think anyone wants him!

People bang on about Carrick because he was a class player, he's done nothing at management level. Steer clear

Talk of him going to Man Utd as interim

Starting to look like he's another one of those who needs his main assistant.

Had him at Wolves and Forest. Didn't have him at Spurs and West Ham.....

Oh and that assistant turned up at Wolves recently and they've not been playing too badly lately have they.

Apparently he is very distant from his players & is not a very popular figure with the team. It's quite possible that Rui Pedro Silva was the intermediary with the players at Wolves & Forest.

West ham are just a shoddy club. Don’t think it reflects on him  to much based on how long he’s been there.

Spurs was always going to be a failure.

We’d be incredibly lucky if he considered us

Well you say that. But him and his best mate Mr Mendes have just orchestrated another one of their shmoney shmaundering specials.

New striker Pablo Pablo, signed for Gil Vicente for £250k in the summer, sold to West Ham for £23m.....

yeah both the new signings look like classic west ham useless signings.  I figured it was a Sullivan deal rather than Mendes.

Incredibly weird deals though I do agree

I could see it being Michael Carrick. He ticks the boxes. Free agent, worked at this level, seen as playing 'the right' way. I think he'd be an upgrade on Cifuentes but not a massive one. Middlesbrough didn't improve under him and have been better since he left. Would be exactly the sort of thing we'd go for.

Hopefully that can apply to use once the clowns above get rid of him.  I doubt it though as these cliches don’t seem to ever apply to us, like scoring against old teams.

We quite obviously just wing it with everything these days though. The entire process behind Cifuentes ending up here said it all about us. 3rd club in the league to be confirmed in the division this season. 23rd club in the league to have a manager in place. They haven't got a clue, I doubt a replacement for Cifuentes has crossed their mind.

I’d have Mowbray until the end of the season but there’s decent readily available managers out there. Not that these clowns would consider or have even heard of them.

Franck Haise

Bo Svensson

Bo Henriksen

Diego Martinez

Martin Demechelis

If I could have anyone it’d be Thomas Frank, probably out of work soon, and almost definitely not interested in joining us!

Wellens would be a good fit .A good knowledge of the lower divisions and the players in there.Could point us in the direction of a few good signings. Also we could blame him every week...

He looked absolutely drained when he came back from his illness.

Our obsession with Southampton should make us at least consider Hassenhutl.
A decent manager who imo is better option than a lot of the usual rubbish out there.
Also he’s readily available.

I’d be very happy with him, he’d bring a good coaching set up too.

Unfortunately I have no faith in this regime sorting out a good Technical and DOF.
