I wonder if they’ll be back in for Potter now we’re in a position to bring in his own technical director as well…. For me anyone but another manager that tries to be the players mate! I want someone who’ll go through them for not putting a shift in

King gets it temporary “whilst search is on going”

Translates as we have not got a pot to piss in, so give him a chance to impress then get the gig to the end of the season.

Low financial risk.

I had assumed this was the long term plan for next season after the World Cup.

Sounds like £££, the lack of loan signing replacement would suggest things are precariously positioned prior to the sacking.

Dunno, can’t they say first team coach taking responsibility for first team duties till the end of the season if that was the case?

Don’t give a monkeys who it is - the manger is part of the problem- the bigger issue is top and the board - until they go nothing  changes

They shouldn't but I wouldn't be surprised to see them give it to King in the interim whilst they wait and see what happens with Potter and Sweden in March with how much of a hard on they have had for him (3 approaches since Rodgers left I think)

Especially now they could let him get his own technical director / director of football which he apparently wanted before

Like he's been a sucess everywhere he's been.  Not.

Mark Robbins 100%. No nonsense British manager to rebuild this team with the right characters.

Should have been this option in the summer.

Finally. I was suckered into buying into this garbage football because the promise was that he would promote an attacking form of control with chaos and excitement. He delivered what 95% of these possession obsessed managers deliver. Boring, predictable football.

Let’s drop this 8 year failed experiment and focus on the football that made us successful, hard grafting, hard pressing, counter attacking football. Or if we want to switch it up a bit, go full German heavy metal Gegenpressing.

Make LCFC exciting again.

Russell Martin just feels depressingly obvious for our board.

For a short term replacement until the summer who may be available......Neil Warnock. Hear me out. I know he is not a dream appointment but he is a bit like Wilder. The more I have heard him speak the more I like him. I think the players would like him.

He is but I do think he’s better than marti. Don’t want him though.

I agree with needing more defensive structure. I just can't think of any decent names that could provide that right now. Mowbray is 62 years old, I don't even think its an option.

I wouldn’t suggest him as a long term option. I think we actually need someone later in their career. If you bring someone in who has their eye on what’s next, they will have their own agenda. I feel we just need someone who just feels freedom and just self pride to do what is right by the club. I’m not sure if I am articulating this how I mean to.

Or just Pearson. Some of these players need to be kept on their toes not knowing if they are getting headbutted or another type of physical assault lol

I genuinely do not think he would take the gig.
