Backwards ideas over there. But they've really built a capable team from 5th tier to the 2nd. Essentially Wrexham done the proper way.

I don't think most fans mind technical football, if it wins you football games and has some semblance of entertainment. It would also be great if a manager could adapt tactically and be pragmatic to whatever game is in front of them and what tools they have instead of being wedded to a philosophy and formation that's clearly not working. For example Martis football was technically shite, the weirdest thing is having all this passing when no one in the team moves to break the lines, its so easy to defend against. Lincoln have the lowest possession stats in League One and are second in the table, meaning they must be very good at using the ball effectively when they get it. Sounds good to me. 3
Aleksz Posted 9 February Posted 9 February Don’t think we should be too hung up on Skubala’s (or anyone in league one and below) compensation. If we haven’t got enough PSR wriggle room in the bank to get those done we’re in serious shit. Still don’t think those at the top will want him though.
