So glad to see he called out so accurately.

Should have formed part of the statement that our esteemed leaders should have issued when they should have sacked him 12 to 18 months before he actually went.

In a parallel universe...

That statement will single handedly ruin his career and i am here for it.

Backs up what a lot of us were saying for months maybe even years before he was sacked.

Absolute weasel.

Even when the club splurged record amounts of money in a calendar year on the £11m Arne Engels, the £9m Adam Idah and the £6m Auston Trusty - none of whom have cut it so far, with Idah already having departed - Rodgers pushed for more and more and, oftentimes, he did it in public.
We are still paying the price for his incompetent signings.

Thought Engels has been okay but nevertheless, Rodgers seems to have a way of swindling the people he works for and then being totally unaccountable for any of the blame for when it goes wrong.

Rodgers has also made several references to underwhelming recruitment throughout the start of the season.
But Desmond responded with: "Every player signed and every player sold during his tenure was done so with Brendan's full knowledge, approval, and endorsement. Any insinuation otherwise is absolutely false.
"In reality, he was given final say over all football matters and was consistently backed in the recruitment process, including record investment in players he personally identified and approved.
I don’t think I’ve ever felt as bitter about someone, that I don’t personally know, as I do about Rodgers. I detest the guy!

Snake oil salesman.

Enriched those around him to create a weird loyal cult and takes zero accountability when it goes wrong every single time. Let's hope this is the nail in this loathsome man's coffin.

That being said, Spurs and Brendan are a partnership that will happen.

That statement is brilliant lol

"We'd like to thank Brendan for his efforts, however he's a shady **** and here are the many reasons why..."

I love it lol

They won't, but any potential future employer should really think carefully about what this is saying about him as a man.

Wolves job seems inevitable to become available but I don't see them going down a Rodgers route. West Ham might panic again and maybe Leeds could get rid of Farke if they start to lose a few.

He'll be eyeing the England job up post World Cup.

I think he'll be dusting off his Spanish Learners' edition of How to Win Friends and Influence People and aiming for a job in La Liga

For someone who has had a decent amount of success, he really isn’t loved by many of the clubs he was at.

Leicester, Celtic, Liverpool, Reading, Watford.

Not sure of Swansea fans opinion of him.

Probably shows people the type of character he is. Also shows what type of character Rudkin and Top are, who was in love him apparently. Still is.

'divisive, misleading, and self-serving'

That's what Celtic have said about him.

Amazing that Celtic have called him out for what he is. Hopefully the football world will wake up and see him for the complete snake that he is!

I don't doubt at all that Rodgers has once again proven to be a first class tosser (divisive, misleading and self-serving are perfect words to describe him) who deserves all the flak he gets, but for what it's worth, Celtic fans distrust their board (Desmond and the CEO Michael Nicholson) as much as we distrust the Aiyawatt and Rudkin calamity duo. Desmond is a control freak who fancies himself as a Billy Bean-style moneyball savant, and, despite being non-executive director and a minority shareholder, required that their board individually approve each transfer decision. Nicholson is inexperienced with it being his first CEO role, and has reportedly been absent in crucial times in the transfer market not answering his phone. They've been messing around with chronically lowballing other clubs when bidding for players until they finally pay the asking price on deadline day. They haven't signed a right winger because although Brendan (with his dreadful record of talent identification and all) had a final yes/no say on signings, the board didn't allow his input into who is on their list of targets to begin with and only go for who they think can be "good value for money". They ended up signing left wingers to play out of position after giving Brendan an "we buy these players or we buy nobody" ultimatum, while the South Korean winger who looks hopeless even in the Scottish league they signed a couple of years ago is somehow still one of their best options. All the while, only a fraction of the income generated from selling their good players and the CL run has been reinvested.

I think it just finally clicked for Brodge that he had a perfect opportunity to preserve Brand Brendan™, because the board aren't suddenly going to develop a new-found competence when the Lawell/Desmond regime remains, they've just been flattered tremendously by Rangers' self-destruction.

I’m so glad DD has publicly called this poisonous man out. It’s word for word exactly what he did to us. We are still feeling the effects of his transfer wisdom to this day.

Another couple of windows and we can finally rid ourselves of every player that he brought in.
