He is in the most difficult position I think I can remember a Leicester caretaker coming into. Ever. 
 

Think about it. Sat there with Andrew Hughes who is a crook. 18 months as a set piece coach and I think we’ve had one decent corner in that entire time. Sadler who shouldn’t be anywhere near the club. 
 

He has no support from “senior” players, no captain, leader etc. no one to trust. Remember Rob Kelly coming into a shite team, and he wasn’t a manager, guys like Gudjohnsen, McCarthy, Kisnorbo etc. all rallied for him. 
 

Who do we have Winks and Ayew ? Riccy is done. They are letting him down. Each senior player has continually let him down - no one has stood up. 
 

It’s an incredible difficult position where he is standing alone with no support. And you can see it’s hurting him.

It's absolutely criminal he's continuing to be hung out to dry by Top and Rudkin, regardless of his legendary status as a player. 

 

They're tarnishing his legacy. 

 

If I was King I'd leave until there's an iota of decency about the club again.

He's not had Jordan James available which hasn't helped. Even though we were barely above mediocre with him, we have been significantly worse without.

But that doesn't mean that I won't realise and accept that he's out of his depth as a manager - even at Championship level. 

 

We need someone else to help us stay up. If that's what we need. But if staying up means that Top and Rudkin stay, I'm not convinced it's the best for the club in the long run - as completely mad as that might sound. 

Staying up and Top and Rudkin staying is preferable to the scenario where we go down and go bankrupt.

 

Although the catch is that if Top and Rudkin stay in position then we are almost guaranteed to go down given enough time so it might end up in the same result.

 

Sadly I think we have to come to terms with the looming reality that we might be seeing the end of Leicester City.

King is not the problem at the club but he is a experienced former pro.  He can't be exempt from criticism after the Craven naivety he showed in that Southampton second half.

It's hard to imagine a worse record for any manager, such a shame poor kingy was thrust into this position, and still in it weeks later. Wtf sort of club are we?

I'm sure Lascelles is fit, just managing his workload so I'm taking it he starts.

 

James clearly is a little more long term.

 

I'm thinking out of the other injuries they are not necessarily going to be in his starting 11.

 

Therefore closer to a starting 11 he wants bar James

Part of the first team coaching staff it was in the article put out by the club announcing Rowett. I know people say we did king dirty but this is the 4th manager he has got to work and learn under he is getting a valuable education in the game here.

Trouble is all the managers played Ayew upfront on his own, including himself so not sure they're good role models.

I disagree i actually think wee looked decent in pre season under Kingy, lots of the academy players involved, we were playing with a high press and high energy it looked quite positive. 
 

The reality is the culture and standards at the club are woeful, that is down to rank bad recruitment not only from at talent perspective but a complete lack of due diligence as to the personality and character of new signings, align that with us handing out long lucrative contracts, and an ownership only to happy to indulge the players and it’s easy to see why the rot has set in. 
 

I ran at Seagrave with Kingy and we spent half an hour talking very openly, and whilst I am not going to breach any confidences about exactly what was said, it is clear he sees and knows the issues. However like any workplace, you can only drive a change if the rotten apples are moved out and you have the support of the Senior Management team to adopt a hard line approach, that will and cannot change if the bad eggs are allowed and enabled by the ownership and Senior leaders to throw each and every manager who tries to change to direction of travel under a bus. 
 

Over time the poor recruitment has diluted the positive impact that the good professionals can instill, and when you have a largely absent owner who still wants autonomy on most major decisions and still tries to be best mates with the senior players, influencing selection etc then anarchy reigns. 
 

Kingy is nowhere near the problem here, his message is saying he knows what can be achieved when standards are high, the culture is professional and everyone is pushing in the same direction, 2015-16 is absolute evidence of that, in the same way that this seasons debacle shows how wrong things can go when the standards are not at the highest level.

No room for sentiment.  I think he needs to go along with the rest of the coaching and technical staff.  We have had poor fitness, lack of discipline, zero player improvement, obvious flaws and errors not being corrected on top of the terrible tactics.
