I disagree i actually think wee looked decent in pre season under Kingy, lots of the academy players involved, we were playing with a high press and high energy it looked quite positive.

The reality is the culture and standards at the club are woeful, that is down to rank bad recruitment not only from at talent perspective but a complete lack of due diligence as to the personality and character of new signings, align that with us handing out long lucrative contracts, and an ownership only to happy to indulge the players and it’s easy to see why the rot has set in.

I ran at Seagrave with Kingy and we spent half an hour talking very openly, and whilst I am not going to breach any confidences about exactly what was said, it is clear he sees and knows the issues. However like any workplace, you can only drive a change if the rotten apples are moved out and you have the support of the Senior Management team to adopt a hard line approach, that will and cannot change if the bad eggs are allowed and enabled by the ownership and Senior leaders to throw each and every manager who tries to change to direction of travel under a bus.

Over time the poor recruitment has diluted the positive impact that the good professionals can instill, and when you have a largely absent owner who still wants autonomy on most major decisions and still tries to be best mates with the senior players, influencing selection etc then anarchy reigns.

Kingy is nowhere near the problem here, his message is saying he knows what can be achieved when standards are high, the culture is professional and everyone is pushing in the same direction, 2015-16 is absolute evidence of that, in the same way that this seasons debacle shows how wrong things can go when the standards are not at the highest level.

I posted just as you posted so I didn’t see your comment about talking to King.  It’s nice to hear that he gets it and is on the same page, but at some point you need to make a stand and if others aren’t listening, make a stand with solutions.

Love King as a player clapped him on Saturday as well as many others.  However, he was/is partly responsible for the shit show of last season.  Club needs

a total re-set.  All the coaching staff, Management team of last season have to go, if we want change at our club.

There's an acceptance of poor behaviour amongst too many at the club. Yes, in the ideal world all Leicester fans would support all Leicester players. But the fact is that it's plainly clear who the bad eggs are and there is next to no pressure on these players.

If you look at the great captains of English football over the last 25 years... Gerrard, Terry, Keane, Kompany etc... do you think they whinge that the club doesn't get support from the fans or do you think they're more worried about players that aren't pulling their weight?

The attitude at the club is all wrong and until they start to realise this nothing will change. LCFC is like a social club full of fat old racist drunks who like going because they get to slob around all day being hateful and getting sloshed because they're doing it in an environment where they're not judged as they should be and nobody calls their behaviour out as being wrong.

He was thrust into a bad situation after Cifuentes was sacked, but that Southampton game was the first time I actually believed we were going to get relegated. His game management in that was so poor and that result really knocked what little fight the squad had left right out of them.

Two of our best attacking halves came under King - the second half vs Charlton where we battered them but then Ayew's penalty miss took all the momentum out and the first half vs. Southampton.

I think you can rightfully criticise for his game management and organising the defence, but he was let down by some sheer stupidity as well like the red cards and Thomas's challenge for Southampton's 2nd goal.

He’s not a manager, has never been a manager or said he’s a manager and didn’t want to be manager.

He did the club he loves a favour because he wasn’t to do everything he can to put things right. Yes it was shocking, but that absolutely was not his fault for being in that situation. The club is rotten and they threw him under a bus because they knew it would take the heat off them for 5 minutes.

Not convinced that throwing another one of our legends out of the door, who knows what it takes to be successful at this club, is the answer but I get the frustration.

The club threw him under a bus putting him in charge, why some fans would then want to do this as well is pretty confusing.

Not convinced that he has added any value to the club since he stopped being a player.

Fair enough if you are looking for some kind of obvious shining light that’s for Kingys name on it, but honestly what are you expecting when we are such a shit show? King to single handedly to sort out the owner, DOF and the utterly shit over paid players we have?

He needs to exclusively be working with the under 23s/18s for a while or be sent on his way with Sadler and Hughes.

He probably would be still mostly in the youth setup if the club was actually any good at sorting out a backroom staff

Yes I understand the frustrations, but he is so inexperienced at this stage. Senior management and more experienced staff should take full responsibility.

It's like pointing fingers at the teenage apprentice learning their trade in a workplace. Providing a positive working environment progresses their development - something that the club has failed at. More figures like Kingy from our successful period should be brought back to foster a positive culture at the club.
