I must admit, Ive gone through all the stages of grief with this club but right now its just empty nothingness.

There was always the feeling that we could make the right decisions and get back on track, Enzo briefly made me believe we could still achieve it. But right now, I think it’s time to accept, it’s over.  There’s no bounce, no recovery, this is now a complete scrap and start again scenario.

when did you truly know it was over for us?  Because I can’t be the only one that this feels like that final moment of hope is gone?

I’ll keep harping on about this til the day I die- but you’ve asked so I’ll tell again

Warsaw away. It was absolutely unacceptable the performance that night. I didn’t go to every game at that time so to see the level of football drop off the cliff compared to Villa away in 2019 (our finest ever performance IMO) was unbelievable.

I remember saying SO many times- If you knew a fat bird from school and 20 years later she’s a worldie, the contrast is stark.

If you see said fit bird every day for 20 years then the contrast is less noticeable

Even prior to that, we’d beaten Everton at home with an Ian Nacho VAR dubious last min winner. Our performance that day was horrific and only masked by the last gasp winner. But it papered over the cracks

Around the time we lost to the almighty Legia Warsaw away, my anti Rodgers was in full swing. Unfortunately we beat United 4-1 or 4-2 the week after and it papered over the cracks once again

Despite winning the FA Cup (yes I was there) Brendan Rodgers was the cancer that’s decided LCFCs fate for the next 20 years and there are PLENTY on here who were in full support of that at the time because they couldn’t see beyond the end of their short nose

Today probably, pretty bleak. Beaten by a  poor Blackburn side, with total silence in the ground at times other than being outsung by 800 Blackburn fans. Players putting in zero effort or desire. Absolutely nothing to bring off the bench to change the game. Thousands of empty faded blue seats by the 85th minute and total (deserved) toxicity at the full time whistle where the players genuinely looked shocked.

Today was a bit of a landmark.

I actually hope we go down again and rot. That’s the extent of our Coach 1/Blue among brigade deserve

Obviously it won’t be down to them not speaking up and doing something about it though

It’ll be down to an unfortunate set of circumstances ‘Khunt Top’ has had to deal with

If Foxestalk is a microcosm of LCFC fans in general- which I agree it is- then 90% of the microcosm need to hang their head in shame for backing that cancerous **** and calling those who called it out

Yeh it’s narcissistic, but for that reason it’s really funny watching those try and do a U turn faster than Rosie and Jim’s canal boat

I knew we were in trouble when we good beat 4-1 by Championship Forest. But the true extent of how far we've fallen, and could potentially become a L1 team again, has hit me today. We're sleep walking to another relegation, unless some major surgery happens at the club (not just sacking Marti).

I don’t disagree in general, but if Rodgers tenure has ‘decided our fate for 20 years’ then surely it’s the people in charge for the final 18 years of that timespan that are more responsible…?

That late?

I think up until then I was still hanging on to the fact that our players were still very good individually. After that Fulham game it was obvious they didn't have the stomach for it.

Getting a very similar feeling recently...

As others have said, the failure to stop Rodgers and his disgraceful mismanagement of the club. They made him bigger than the club and we are still paying the price now.

When Enzo left for Chelsea.

Yep - that’s the exact point you knew there wasn’t gonna be a come back - the original moment was obviously Maddison’s penalty against Everton or maybe very latest Rodger’s lasting as long as he did - it’s well and truly over now - league one here we come again

FT is still far more anti-KP than the general fanbase id say

Bentleys is way more pro-KP on the other hand

I've never left a game before the 90th minute until today. Utterly ashamed of our team.

In hindsight I should have stayed and joined the chorus of "not fit to wear the shirt", I was too angry at the time

Relegation from Prem the first time. It was obvious we were in a whole world of pain financially and would need to sell players we would never be able to buy should we go back up.

Absolute c unts. Make no noise all game and then performatively clap the players off in our ‘Kop’. Wasters

Part of the reason I left early today was to avoid these idiots who contribute nothing whilst demanding "we should always back the lads" and again clapping people dragging their club back 20 years.
