The reality is, whether we agree or not with the decision (I don't), he came in due to necessity and I doubt we'll see feature let alone start for a while now which will be a damn shame!

First yellow was because a half arsed lazy pass from fatawu , second one didn’t really need to do it as it was always going to get a card from it unless the ref is being a bit more lenient .

looked ok other than that just a shame that he had a team full of donkeys around him to make it that bit harder for him

The game was already gone by the time he was sent off and it was far more forgivable than Thomas’ error at Millwall.

It was right to play him but the manager and club now have to support him. If he’s got anything about him it’ll make him more resilient.

I didnt watch the first half live. Just seen youtube replay.

I think that 2nd yellow is harsh. The amount of times we have seen these not given when players are on yellows. I;ve seen some shit challenges against us over the years.

Shouldn't have done it. He will learn from it. But i think another ref who isnt such a plonker uses his brain a little more and has a word.

I think they were both yellows but tactically why are we having to rely on a 17 year old having to hack down players because all of our backline is scrambling to get back away from home like that?

This will be last we see of him until Marti leaves. It allows them to pin the whole defeat on him.

I thought he looked better than Thomas going forward, just made a couple of nervous mistakes.

I’m glad he started to get forward but it didn’t help that they are clearly not working on any sort of wing play. Mav could’ve played him into space a few times, then stood close to Mav who ignored him again. That would’ve freed him or get a return pass in space.

Greedy, undisciplined wingers when a full back actually offers support. Same with Abdul.

Such a poor mistake to rugby tackle like Thomas does. Hopefully it’s something he can learn from rather than a bad habit.

I feel the youngster don’t have any leaders, role models or a manager that can inspire.  Monga started diving and Aluko tackles like Thomas.  Send him to Fuchs in Jan.

Quite clearly he’s a talent, ideally he needed to gradually phased in, and I hope after his suspension he will be included in the match day squad and introduced matches. The worst thing the manager could do, is to not select him in the match day squad

Needs minutes and to be eased in.

Yesterday was literally the definition of being chucked in at the deep end. Unfairly so and his assholes of teammates didn't help him out one bit.

From having zero minutes all season, not even a few minutes off the bench here and there to making your league debut away at the most in form side in the league.

He was massively shafted by Fatawu for the first yellow and any of them would’ve done the same.

Felt incredibly bad for him and hope he doesn’t get the Nelson treatment.

In a way, not seeing him again this season might be a blessing in disguise. Give him the second half of the year on loan somewhere in the lower leagues with basic standards, and don't let his game be poisoned by having to share a backline with spineless mugs like Faes and Vesty.

Worst possible debut. Dreadful management as well in all honesty. He's been thrown in at the deep end by both the manager and Fatawu when it never had to be that way. I think even as a youngster you've got to do better than that though on the second - that was just dumb regardless of age.

By the way get him back in the team when we can. We've seen enough from Thomas - he's absolutely useless. We don't know yet that this kid is.

But the key takeaway is that he made nervous mistakes whilst really trying. It’s forgivable. Calm the nerves and try again in a few weeks. Cannot fault his work rate
