QPR fans saying they knew they’d win once they want 1-0 up because Marti has no plan b

He hasn't got much of a plan A to be fair.

Thomas is wank but Nelson? He had an off day, but we've looked noticeably better when he's played, it's a good thing you aren't running the club as he's one of our biggest assets financially

Yes I based my remarks on today's performance which was shite. But he doesn't seem to have much pace and mobility to me

So from one bad game he should never play again, okay......

I'm not defending Marti in any way at all but his choice of players is dismal !!! When Ayew is first choice there is a problem. Luke Thomas is just awful & Mavididi is inconsistent at best. Marti is struggling but I fear most managers that we can attract wont be much better. This situation has been coming for a long time & until we have knowledgable people running our club it will only get worse !!

Will we get knowledgeable people or more yes men.

Are we just pretending that everyone wasnt saying "he's finally starting to get it" when the lineup came out?

I just get this feeling that the formation makes us very vulnerable in midfield - only 2 genuine midfielders - which makes it easy for us to get overrun if the oppo go hard at us.  We need the wingers to cover back a lot better than they are at the moment.

It doesn't help that throughout the whole team there's a lack of will to compete strongly for the ball, to be alert to picking up the loose ball, and to support each other over the pitch.

Im aware of what was being said but some people think we have a decent team & Marti just needs to get it right.  I'm not in that group !!!

Got thrashed by QPR, just let that sink in. Definitely a new low in my book. How 5 years makes a difference.

Yep - even one year makes a difference - we thrashed them 6-2 last season!

The worst thing about todays result was that QPR weren't exactly great - in fact, I thought they were pretty crap! It's just so easy to beat Leicester these days - we lose EVERY individual dual and crumble at the slightest pressure, even when it's a poor team we're playing. Pathetic, Weak and lacking one iota of pride.

QPR's tactics were simple but highly effective. They got the ball forward very quickly, repeatedly won second balls and ensured that they blocked off all our highly predictable passing lanes when Vestergaard had possession at the back. According to the stats, they won 2/3 of the ariel duals in the match and won 79% of tackles made, compared to 54% for us. On such a small pitch they totally suffocated us, ruthlessly exposing our lack of physicality.

4-0 at HT obviously flattered them, with 2 of the goals coming from very low xG shots, but there's no doubt they were far superior to us in all areas. For a start, just compare the performance of their wingers to that of our much vaunted pair.

It is perhaps telling that their manager has a decent track record in a top 5 European league, compared to the hapless Marti, whose career highlight was finishing 18th with QPR.

Did all their goals come from the left side?

Thomas and Mavididi were anonymous and were useless. Nelson and Skipp weren’t bad and the rest dreadful.

Did the fans start leaving at 3-0?

Lightweight modern Ownership employs another modern lightweight Manager that picks more lightweight players and continue down the path of trying to become the next Pound Shop Pep's modern offering. Who'd have ever thought that things would go tits up? And some were called dinosaurs when they were suggesting the club was going down the wrong road as it was happening.
