Why can't we play teams as weak and unprepared us Leicester?

In terms of wages vs league position, we’ve got to be the worst in English League football surely.

One of the worst halfs of football ever from us.

This is the football I was watching when we got relegated to League One and in the seasons building up to that. Just a fundamentally poor team with a handful of individuals. Except we somehow have an EPL wage bill.

Years of egregious mismanagment culminating here.

No gameplan, no physicality, no leadership.

Every single player were a disgrace in that half, but I’m gonna single out Ricardo, it’s about time he showed some leadership qualities because I’m seeing fvck all leadership from him.

BASICS BASICS BASICS.
We can’t even do that.

They must have been all out on the piss last night as there is no effort from them.
Can’t win the 2nd ball, can’t pass, can’t attack and definitely don’t know how to defend.

This team is an absolute embarrassment.
We are a bang average league one team.

It's very dangerous for any team when you cannot defend set pieces. Even crap teams that struggle to score goals can scrape a goal from a set piece. We never seem to concede "good goals". If someone bangs one top corner from 30 yards, you hold your hand up and say fair enough. But every single goal we concede is 100% preventable and is more often than not, because one of our players has made a shocking mistake. The set piece issue isn't held by Jakub, he really is terrible on crosses.

We seriously need alternative options at left back. We are targeted on that side every game. Mavidididoesn’t help the situation but we can’t expect a left winger (who himself can’t defend well) to continually cover for a vulnerability that Thomas shows when he’s up against a winger with a bit of guile.

And in terms of transfer fees.

Divide the fan base ... so you are happy with how the club is being run, the manager, the style of play, effort and responsibility.... its those that  happily accept the situation who are in are the problem ...

You know this place is a tiny little echo room right? You need everyone (or as many as possible) on board not a bunch of gob shites on a forum. You do that through inclusion not division. Boycott is better bet, but the same still applies.

Well the fullbacks need more options than hoofing it up to the wingers.

Our system just isn’t functioning. Every pass is under pressure with no options. We are completely predictable and easy to play against

it doesn’t seem that anything we try or do is working.

we are crap and so is our manager

It doesn’t get to the top of issues very often in discussion, but we are sooooo weak in the middle of midfield. JJ ‘ BDCR’s goals have been great, but we get bullied by everyone.

Agree completely. Today we are just getting bossed in the middle of the pitch. Doesn't matter who you have as a striker if they are "supported" by this midfield.

Ball winning midfield player and striker are urgently required in January.

We look so slow, so uncommitted, and lack any ideas of how to play other than get the ball down the pitch and hope someone gets to it before a Sheffield United player.

One side looks like a professional well coached unit that has a game plan and carries it out whilst the other looks like a bunch of Sunday pub league players coached by the guy who buys the rounds and just turns up hoping for the best.

Well that was awful. Bullied. They're first to everything. We don't get a moment on the ball, whereas, we don't put in any significant challenge.

They're better than us as a team. However, we could at least fight. I think a lot of it is the manager. Who would you rather face at half-time after that; ours or Wilder? We don't fear him enough.

The inevitable happened. One way traffic. A bond villain's name as well. Think we'll need 007 to get anything here.

Offered nothing at all going forward, can't string any passes together, no control in midfield and totally dominated on the left side. I understand the lack of options in the striker role and not using players that want to leave the club but the lack of quality is incredible.

Lee Hendrie has summed that up quite well.

It is basically attack vs defence.
