murphy Posted 10 January Posted 10 January Worst thing about this fixture is that we'll no doubt get a handful of visitors from the shitty end of the M69 again.
Dan Posted 10 January Posted 10 January I don't think we'll get battered, but they're genuinely wobbling all over the place and I'm annoyed that we're going to go there and probably hand them a win just when they really need it. Just reeks of a 1-0 or 2-1 loss.
Fox92 Posted 10 January Posted 10 January They haven’t been in great form but will no doubt still beat us.

They will just see them as top of the league and he’ll get away with a defeat. Particularly on the back of 2 wins as again, they won’t have a club how we are playing as Aiyawatt is clearly not even bothered to watch us. This is also depressingly correct.

But, may well be Marti’s last match, can’t see him surviving a thrashing at the hands of these. We got hammered by Forest on prime time BBC whilst FA cup holders and Rodgers survived 3

Angus Scott Posted 10 January Posted 10 January Fully expect our bunch of wantaway wimps will collapse in the hostile atmosphere. Also Cov have made 2 good loan additions this week which will give them a massive boost, whereas we'll be trotting out the same old dross as we can't even find any cash to get some desperately needed new blood. Sorry, but I see no hope here

Yeah you’re right - our ruthless culture at board level of demanding performance & results will ensure a bad result leads to him getting the sack. 2
daddylonglegs Posted 10 January Posted 10 January Also - the idea that if we lose this we’ll sack Marti and things will change. You’ve not been paying attention if you think the set of cretins running this place have any form of ‘contingency’ plan from a management perspective.
Foxes96 Posted 10 January Posted 10 January Stolarczyk Okoli - Vestergaard - Nelson - Ricardo Skipp Fatawu - James - Page - Mavididi Ayew Begovic / Thomas / Aluko / Hamza / BDCR / Monga / S Thomas / Daka / Evans

I’d take anything at this point to offer even a teeny smile. 1

Footballwipe Posted 11 January Posted 11 January (edited) We win this and he's 100% staying here at least until the end of the season, and they put out a DVD of the game in the club shop. Edited 11 January by Footballwipe 2

rugbyblue Posted 11 January Posted 11 January Not going to this.....price and would never have reached all st holders anyway. Any recommendations for pubs in Leicester to watch this next Saturday that have a bit of life /likely to have a few city fans in? As you might have guessed from my user name i live in rugby which is cov city country so im not watching it over here.
Stadt Posted 11 January Posted 11 January A can totally foresee them labouring against us, we’ll concede from the left early doors but the don’t get going. A James or Fatawu screamer gets us back into it before succumbing to a defeat very late on. Worst of all worlds as they win at the death and because it’s not a battering it gives Cifuentes 10 more games, despite not describing it.

Maybe if you could loan someone to essentially cover Aluko going on loan to get more experience but otherwise it seems a waste of a position to put any (limited if existent at all) funds towards permanently given we do have Aluko and even Joseph waiting in the wings. Striker and left back are much more important. 1
SafewayFox Posted 11 January Posted 11 January If Marti wasn’t a fraud, he’d actually look at their recent performances and identify their weaknesses. However, what Marti will do, is to play Ayew and Reid and see us offer zero running, as highlighted by the recent Opta stats. Ayew is a hideous CF, Reid doesn’t impact enough of our overall game. Why hasn’t any manager since Enzo come in and tried the two “high 8”s? We have an automatic pick in JJ, it would then mean with our CF and two wingers, we would be a lot more balanced, both attacking and defensively. 2 1
CrazyKopCorner Posted 11 January Posted 11 January Anything less than 3 would be a morale victory and would even give me some hope that Cov are truly stuttering and may **** it up

Spot on the 8's would add greatly to our wing dominated attacks
Katy Posted 11 January Posted 11 January Be good if we ****ed up their promotion party, like we ****ed up F*rest’s Champion’s League one. 1
