fkas Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Loan and then an option at £2m? Worth a go. We're desperate for someone to put the ball in the net. 1
jonny_wright Posted 17 January Posted 17 January 1 good season in a barely pro league, 75% chance of him not being good enough, 50% chance of him never scoring a goal for Leicester if he signs…. Not what we need, we need someone like Piroe 1
Lesta2014 Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Bit I like is the desire to score some of them which would be nice. He also appears to get into scoring positions where as Ayew simply doesn’t.
AjcW Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Didn’t realise match fixing was so popular in the Swedish league!

Has the striking instincts of a sloth.

FosseSpark Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Hopefully he's Type 2 Diabate, rather than the first one we had? 4

Jazzy_Jeff Posted 17 January Posted 17 January I’d only want him if either Daka or Ayew is off and he’s in addition to someone else. We can’t be relying on someone with one good season in a poor league. 1
Brizzle Fox Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Would be a poverty signing but kinda says where we are now as a club. Just need to embrace it. 1

Popular Post FrankieADZ Posted 17 January Popular Post Posted 17 January its worth the gamble imo, look at Salech at Cardiff and Ivanovic at Millwall salech came from Swedish league too and Ivanovic from the Serbian league both id say have adapted well to the EFL and didnt cost the earth for me if we can get this lad in it will certainly help and cant be any worse than Ayew 5
Pita Posted 17 January Posted 17 January With our DOF and scouting team must he must be another donkey
Deebhoy Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Also linked with Celtic - although what is happening at Celtic is anyone's guess 🙄
South Shire Fox Posted 17 January Posted 17 January (edited) Loan with an option to buy would be the best option. If hes pony then he goes back. Try before you buy Edited 17 January by South Shire Fox

And at 2m if he does hit the ground running in the champ he’ll be worth many times that.
JimJams Posted 17 January Posted 17 January A loan with the option to buy for 1% of the Golding fee is an absolute dabble.
Pliskin Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Out of all of the strikers we could have made a move for, this is it? He’s garbage, who exactly is on our scouting team? Mary Berry?
Edingleyfox Posted 17 January Posted 17 January (edited) This is very similar sounding to the Carranza deal. 26 with one decent season in a lower league. Could have gone with Richard Kone another Ivorian in the summer but was £3m too much? Is this really about PSR or is the club struggling to make ends meet. Edited 17 January by Edingleyfox 1
Aleksz Posted 17 January Posted 17 January I follow Mallorca as a second/european team and also have to keep track of their youth system for a bit of my work. If you’d told me a few years back Diabate would be playing championship football within a few years I would have been surprised. Was exceptionally raw at the time despite being a good goalscorer. Haven’t kept track of him since he’d left Spain - didn’t even know he’d gone to Sweden. Would expect him to look very raw here too. 1
