foxgas Posted 23 January Posted 23 January At last we have a rumour thread for a transfer that's not going to happen this window. 1

As usual we’ll get a tweet close to deadline saying the deals been pulled because of something that definitely isn’t our fault
Tuna Posted 25 January Posted 25 January Who knows what we really have available to spend. Top said there was money in Owynn's interview, it's been reported by Percy it's only loans. Meanwhile we seem to have agreed something with Diabate and GAIS that was almost done a week ago and has now gone quiet.

I'd rather us do loans then be stuck with players a new manager doesn't want.
JimJams Posted 25 January Posted 25 January Well it was apparently waiting on Cifuentes to ok it, which sounded like bollocks at the time, and given that he's no longer an obstacle you surely get this done now because there's little time to fxxk about and it's better to have the tools even if the new gaffer doesn't fancy using them rather than having fxxk all and expect him to bang nails in with his forehead. 1

Did you listen to Top's interview - they don't have that ruthless, crafty personality.

Any new manager will likely be in the mould of the same style previous managers. The club seem to want us to go down this boring, possession based ‘chuckle brothers’ (to me - to you) football which we are no longer capable of. And as fans do not want to see. Unfortunately, I can’t see the next manager being any different whilst we still have the owner and DoF in place who wants to continue with this.

That makes it sound like it was planned. Like Rudkin was waiting for Top to see how bad it was for himself on Saturday. I'm not convinced I very much doubt we'll get a new man in quickly...unless you count King until the end of the season.... This one I would think is now dead in the water and maybe that isn't a bad thing. I don't understand why we haven't got at least one loan player in from a prem side. There must be someone young and talented that we could borrow cheap. Club is a shambles. Edited 26 January by fox_favourite

coolhandfox Posted 26 January Posted 26 January I think this is for the best. He was not going to be fit and ready to go, we would be better loaning a player who actually playing some sort of football. 2
brookfox Posted 26 January Posted 26 January Much like a girl called Louise who I really (really) fancied at University, he'll forever hold a secret place in my heart as the special one who got away. 1
Langston Posted 26 January Posted 26 January If he's going to a second rate Emirati club then I have doubts he'd have been any good tbh.. 1
