He’s only 22 so has time on his side but he needs to develop a hell of a lot himself and not be dragged up by other players around him (in a better team) to state he’s going straight to the top. An example of the type of player who is going straight to the top with his next move is 19yr old Yan Diomande who is everything we thought Fatawu would be. If you look at them in isolation Diomande is streets ahead of Fatawu in every facet…..it is this type of player who will go straight to the top and stay there, not a player, as good as we see he can be, like Fatawu. You can tell me it’s players around him but it’s a players own decision making that sets the great from the good. He needs to choose his next step carefully because he’s not ready to start for a premier top 5 side currently.

Nothing special,but stands out on a hopeless shower of shit team like we have. Same as James,looks good in a terrible team,but would struggle in the Premier League. Lacks pace with and without the ball.But shows potential.

He has his moments of extreme quality but in a bad team like we are this season, his frailties are exposed and he's guilty of trying to do too much on his own. Two seasons ago when the team was excellent and responsibility was shared among more players (Vardy, KDH, Ndidi, even Mavididi on good form) Fatawu was able to flourish and show his talent more often. The players around him now are either cooked physically, bad technically, utterly demoralised or a combination of them all. I think in a good team, he'll pick up again. 5
