 Same as Aluko?  I know he might be more known as  wing back but he did ok when he came on. It’s really not worth risking Lascelles if he’s not fully ready.. it would be foolish, in fact.

Big game and team selection for King. First match felt a little lazy/safe; don’t rock the boat, keep everyone happy etc. If it wasn’t for an Okoli brainfart it may have worked. He’s now got new players to consider, some fan discontent to certain players and a massive need to start picking up points. Got some big calls to make this on formation, tactics, starting 11 and also subs - over to you Kingy!

If he plays Ayew and allows him to constantly play the same way, then King can get in the bin.  If he has a clue and understands the detriment to the team then he needs to get the balls to fix it. 
 

Nothing will change unless King has actually tried to change the way we play.
 

This is the game where we will know if he’s trying or just as useless.
