Today's likely to be an eventful one in the stands.

Lots of mixed frustrations, a divide within the fanbase, local game with a load on the piss, what could possibly go wrong? lol

Bring it on.

Ayew up front, Thomas and JV at the back then it will be a slog and King needs to maybe look at a new industry to enter.

Get rid of these 3 and put anyone else in will improve our chances by removing these blockers.

I want to see this as a fresh start, show fighting spirit and pride but the trend this season won’t be broken until we have someone in charge of that has a clue how to set a team up to defend and attack as one.

Four of Birmingham’s last five home league games have ended 1-1. They don’t lose often at home but they’re not exactly imperious either. We’ll get at least a point today.

Rare game for me today. Seen a West Brom fan say, West Brom, Wolves and Birmingham at home today. Very rarely do wolves and Albion play at home. so add in Leicester, Stoke and Chelsea fans, there’s gonna be a lot of different fans around Birmingham today haha.

Ever the optimist I think we will only lose 2 nil

If Ayew starts up front today I will proper lose my Sh*t

If he starts today I will lose some major respect for Andy king - that line up last week was disgusting - he has no excuses today

Ricardo.  Laccelles    Vesty .   Nelson

                           Winks

  Mav.         Skip.        Mukasa.    Fatawu

                             Richards

enzo ish  - riccy tucking into cm when possible - back 3 most of the time - mukasa doing the kdh role and new young blood up top just trying to stretch the oppo back line - it’s not perfect but we 💯 stay up playing like that

It’s not left back it’s left Cb just like Justin and Doyle did a few years ago

and just to be clear I’d have you playing there instead of Luke Thomas

May have got a few loaned in but  expect nothing different I'm afraid until we have a manager with some bo11ox who is willing to rock the boat which wont happen.

I might post my Rustie Lee gif later if I can be arsed but I'll try and avoid all coverage and hope to be suprised by finding out we have played stunning offensive footy, keeping a clean sheet, owning the midfield  and powering yo a 0-3 win......yeah.....🙄

Very tempted to stop watching our games whenever Ayew is on the pitch

Same boat, can’t watch him “play” anymore. If King picks him AGAIN then I’d rather we just appoint a fan as the temporary manager.

Or.. unbeaten at home in 5 with one of those being a win against top of the league and we're dog shit.

You mean that same top of the league side that we should have beaten at home and should also have been 3-0 up at half-time away a few weeks ago? With better finishing we'd have done the double over Coventry.

And yes, we were generally dog shit under Cifuentes. But he has gone and there was a clear improvement last week—we'd have won that game without Okolo's brain fart and would probably have at least drawn if Ayew hadn't chosen the occasion to miss the first penalty of his career (having previously scored all 17 he'd attempted). Plus, we have signed four new players, at least two of whom I think will start today, with the others probably featuring from the bench.

I understand, based on our peformances this season, why there is pessimism about today. I'm just puzzled by this incredibly stubborn refusal among some people to even admit the possibility that Marti's departure and the arrival of fresh blood might result in a better outcome on the pitch.
