Leandro Rosseau I’ve landed on two Eredivisie strikers, Noah Naujoks(Excelsior) and Koen Kostons(PEC Zwolle). Naujoks is a mixture of striker and attacking midfielder, Kostons is someone who can play with his back to goal and link play, he’s been linked to Hearts. But if we are well and truly fvcked spending wise, then it will probably be a Premier League or Championship loan, or… MIKAEL MANDRON ON A FREE 2
Chief Keef Posted 16 July Posted 16 July If we’re that broke I’d rather take a punt on a younger striker with a decent record in a much weaker league. Let Ings fill the quota of 30+ free agent and leave it at that. Some names I’d be looking at: Roman Čerepkai Mario Ilievski Sory Diarra Lee Ho Jae Admittedly they’d all be big risks and could look like competition winners if we did sign one. But would like if the club could go back to unearthing gems rather than the same tired names we get each summer. As others have mentioned, Danny Ormerod also looks really exciting. I’d be happy to bring him in too, even if the plan was to loan him straight out to League Two for a season. 1

Bluearmyfox28 Posted 17 July Posted 17 July Ibrahim Diabate is one to potentially watch, we was linked with him last year so the interest is there. Tobias Lauritsen would be perfect from a link up play perspective under RM. Johannes Eggestein is the one I think could be most realistic to tick all boxes. But I wouldn’t be surprised to see someone like Mason Burstow with an option to buy in the future.

I’m conflicted on our financial situation, especially with Nixon saying we have a kitty of £10m and linked us to £5m offers. I usually don’t take Nixon serious at all but he’s been first on reporting a lot for us as of late. 1

Vindaloo FOX Posted 17 July Posted 17 July Sam Gallagher from Stoke, he's only done well at Blackburn, got a year left on his contract, Stoke want him gone. Wouldn't surprise me if he ends up here.
boosmanana Posted 17 July Posted 17 July We probably don't have the money for it even if/when the likes of Fatawu and Nelson leave, but if we're somehow able to, I'd love it if we could get Montader Madjed from Hammarby. Left footed right winger, crazy stats for successful dribbles and take ons, which we're going to need from our wingers with them staying wide for 1v1 situations. Valued at €3.5m on transfermarkt so realise it's probably out of our reach right now. 1
Ric Flair Posted 17 July Posted 17 July Wonder what Stoke's plan is with Emre Tezgel. Contract up next summer and did well in League Two last season. I rate him, ideal profile. 2

boosmanana Posted 17 July Posted 17 July Similar to Madjed earlier in that he may be out of our reach financially, but think Daniel Karlsbakk would be perfect for us. He's 6ft5, good hold up and link up and he's pretty rapid too. I'd love to see us utilise the Scandinavian market more if we're able to commit any funds to signing players.

Good shout, I was raving about him last season. He was excellent for the fiest two thirds of last season and then tailed off. Not followed him closely this season so far.
mozartfox Posted 18 July Posted 18 July Seeing the friendlies, personally I would spend any cash on a 25 YOA striker. Everything else depends upon who departs. We should be okay at this level.

Clever Fox Posted 19 July Posted 19 July Surely we can loan a striker from either of the Manchester Clubs for a season. Especially after Man city getting Monga from us.
