Agreed but we literally do not have another fit senior cb, and I don’t want to watch Aluko have to deal with Brum and Southampton at centre half at all, wouldn’t be fair on him, he should be a right back or in a back 3 remainder of the season

I’m sure it’s probably already been pointed out but we will be going into Birmingham with one fit centre back, who has played less than a seasons worth of games in the championship. He has to start.

Could be exactly what we need to stabilise our 'defence' and develop Nelson (he better not replace him).

 

The big IF is if his body is still up to it and if he can get and stay match fit quick, which hasn't looked likely since his injury. I imagine it will be dumb luck rather than due diligence on our part if he does so fingers crossed we get lucky again 🤞 🙏 🍀

Hopefully he comes in and rattles a few cages because our stats are so bad in terms of effort, goals, defending etc that this squad needs telling some home truths from a player who obviously isn’t scared to say what he thinks

Hopefully he stays fit because he could be a big asset both on and off the pitch
