Very very good signing if he can stay fit. Called for us to sign him on multiple occasions in the past when we were in the prem, the sort of signing that could potentially take us up multiple levels if he can command the dressing room. One of the first names on the teamsheet for me.

After watching this video, I'm fully onboard with this signing.

Exactly the type of player we need, solid defender and strong captain with immaculate leadership skills.

Something Coady never had. That absolute fraudulent scouser.

Surprised he's agreed to a 6-month contract. But we must be paying his current wage until then? maybe he's got something lined up for the summer.

Says it all that even old pros looking for a last pay day don't want to commit to us lol

Huge if, but if we stays fit he will be a solid signing you'd guess.

Would have liked a better LB but the optimist in me hopes he can organise things a bit better for Luke or we move to a 3 CB system, 2 sitters in midfield with wingers providing width up to attack.

It's a narrow formation but if it keeps our heads above water, I'm not arguing.

After Kingy’s comments last week, it’s interesting he starts off with the “high standards” “professionalism” comments or the club wanting that to be the opening line.

People talk in industry’s and football is no different. There’s been an issue with professional application at this club for some time and it’s good it’s getting noticed and called out. We weren’t all mad.

Could be a great partner for Nelson, a decent organised manager, abit of luck with his fitness and we could look a lot more organised at the back pretty quickly.

It's a risk in the same way it was with Ramsay. But then it wasn't seen as a risk with Jordan James and both are unavailable now. All footballers are an injury risk to a certain degree.

A risk worth taking, probably.

Not jizzing off to him just yet- lets see him play with our other "defenders" and see how that works out!

Good luck to him, just hope he avoids Seagrave:thumbup:

id like to think we retain the option of a further  year. It would be a kick in the teeth if he comes and played well, gets match sharp and then buggers off elsewhere..

Big name signing on a short-term deal.

All I want to see is pitch action/action on the pitch.

And plenty of clean sheets until the end of the season.

He’s playing for a contract I guess so will hopefully be motivated?

And if he’s crap we part ways without a long term burden.

yea win win and actually decent business from Leicester for once

Reads like a permanent deal but for 6 months, actually feels sensible for this mess of a club, reassess in the summer

If he gets a longer contract in the summer then clearly he and us will have done very well out of the deal. If not, then we're not lumbered with him.

Can't argue with it really. We need bodies, especially experienced ones. Can't afford proper signings. It's where both club and player are at right now.

I've a little feeling this will work out OK.
