I would be squaring up to Ayew if he was my team mate.

 

It's hard enough to score goals when you're down to 10 men but he simply does not run. I have never met a lazier cvnt in my life. He makes Beckford look like Ian Hume.

 

Bringing him on completely killed the game by ensuring that we wouldn't get or retain the ball.

 

The man is a joke. He shouldn't be allowed back on the bus. Pay his contract off and be rid of him.

Give Ricardo his due, he was much better second half.

 

But the sending off was so stupid - we were just building a head of steam; just had a half chance for a corner too.

 

The other frustrating thing is that Birmingham didn’t really create that much in the second half despite the man advantage.

Apart from the first two minutes it was actually our best defensive display since at least September. Which is obviously a worry but I saw hope with Lascelles and Nelson at the back today. Thomas was decent enough too.

I think Nelson and Lascelles could form a good partnership. But they don't have the full backs or goalkeeper to support them.
