I actually think Okoli is a half decent defender in terms of getting in the way, making blocks etc. Problems arise when there's an expectation of him competently kicking the football. 3
adejo92 Posted 17 February Posted 17 February (edited) Need the new manager in for this. Sentiment aside, we can't bare another game with King in charge. Clocks ticking. Edited 17 February by adejo92 1

I presume there was hope that Okoli could do the running bit and defend ok. Sadly, for whatever reason, Okoli cant run nor can he defend. The fact we have both being paid good money is terrible.
TheLittleBigMan Posted 17 February Posted 17 February Cannot wait for this. Another game of slick football backed up with a rock solid defence. 1

Foxin_Mad Posted 17 February Posted 17 February (edited) If Rudkin could wake up or stop horse sucking and get a new manager in, it might help us. Edited 17 February by Foxin_Mad
LCFCJohn Posted 18 February Posted 18 February 2-1 Stoke the most likely result. I’d take a draw to end the run of defeats and a performance to give us hope if offered now.

Fixed that for you... 😉 Maybe it's too soon for Richards (I've never seen him play!) but at this stage I'd start Monga over Mavididi. Picking the same team makes players complacent and easy for the opposition to prepare for - Richards or Monga could make us more chaotic and unpredictable. Stephy working his arse off to earn back his place as a pissed off sub would be helpful when closing out a game too.
davieG Posted 18 February Posted 18 February Looks like another game with Kingy as Temp Manager. There seems little urgency to resolve this and other major issues. 1
Pita Posted 18 February Posted 18 February Still think it will be a draw. Even with a manager. Good luck Gary
oxtonfox Posted 18 February Posted 18 February I got a nasty feeling it will be a terrible game with neither side looking like scoring then they’ll get an injury time winner due to the inevitable Leicester defensive mistake or a worldie deflected shot. “We deserved better” “I was pleased with the effort today”. “We go back to the training ground and go again” bollox.
coolhandfox Posted 18 February Posted 18 February Calling it. First cleansheet in an age. 0-0, or a scrappy 1-0 win 3
PhillippaT Posted 18 February Posted 18 February Can we least play for 90mins this time, instead of 45...? 80? 70? Er...
