Much much better. Decent point away against an above average Championship side. Play like that between now and the end of the season and we easily stay up. Got to take the positives from that 2nd half.

Gutted because we should have won but way more to be positive about than this time last week. Our defending simply must improve because those goals we conceded were so poor.

 

Mukasa will be some player.

This is how I feel. I also feel given a bit of time he will sort the defence out.

Thomas will get a lot of the blame for the equaliser. But ill copy what I put in the match thread

 

"Look I get what you're saying. But if you are playing Left Wing and you just stand on the edge of the box and watch your opposite full back just saunter in at the back post and you've not tracked him or passed him on you are equally at fault for what happens"

 

Mavididi needs to track his man there. We are carrying too many lazy players.

Mukasa is a baller. 

Second half he was immense (still the odd occasion where he faffs around rather than playing a pass or shooting). First half he looked like he'd never kicked a ball. Still, he's going to be crucial to our chances

2 points down the pan against a piss poor stoke side. if we don't stop giving away soft goals we will be down.

If Mukasa can keep up with performances like that and JJ can come back quickly playing how he has been, there’s still a little bit of hope.

Is this us for the rest of the season then? Actually showing some guts but the fine margins go against us and we still go down?

Two appalling goals to concede FWIW, but we were desperately unlucky not to get the win there regardless. Green shoots.

Just really pleased they showed so much fight after the equaliser! 

With a few to come back, we might have enough for Rowett to turn it around.
