The idea is to avoid having a s**tter second half than first by keeping the best, well better, players on the bench and bring them on. The mans a genius.

Truly horrific selection. All Bristol City need to do is press up into our half and we'll be stuck. We don't have the players to play out of a press and we have zero pace in behind. This is going to go badly wrong and is the opposite of being brave. Gutted as I was initially positive about Rowett. He's now reverted to what people feared he would do.

I’m not a tinfoil hat wearer but this sucks big time and seems like an act of deliberate self harm

Quite rightly the most outrage at any line up I can ever remember and we’ve had plenty the last 18 months - I’m done with rowett after picking that 11 - I don’t care if there are a million excuses it’s a hope killer and complete kick in our faces as fans - pathetic

I’m absolutely speechless. How are you not starting James & Mukasa in a home game?

How do you drop Daka for Ayew!!!!

I don't think we'll see Mukasa and James starting together under this manager. Like when Cooper never started Abdul and Stephy together.

I am actually stunned!

Me too. I didn't expect that. And I don't understand it, either.

Please could someone just go straight through Ayew early so he gets a 5 month injury and we never have to see him again.

Unfortunately his blubber has protecting him his whole career and he's never had a serious injury
