First Half and remembering we are a relegation threatened team away to play off hopefuls - they have had a good half

 

Good Defensive shape that has given very little away

A midfield working and winning the ball in the midfield created the penalty moment

We missed a penalty and our heads did not immediately dropped - Earlier this season, we would have instantly collapsed the moment something went wrong - instead ended the half the better side

And although not great, we look like we could create something on the counter

 

Mendy in their defence is a weak link and we need to keep attacking him

Also no idea why we have 8 minutes of added time, for what appeared to be hydration breaks!

We've limited them to 1 shot that was off target. 

 

I get the usual meltdowns but aside from the shit penalty, you cannot fault how we have dealt with them so far.

 

The biggest worry is how we inevitably deal with the first bit of pressure.

Would we've taken that 1-0 lead into the break? I highly doubt it, given this season so far.

Absolutely criminal that that's the level of strategic squad management we've done. Like, much as Puel jumped the gun on trying to phase Vardy out, the man is 38 and he was the only one in 10 years who had even a crack at succession planning for him.

To think that Akinbiyis name was thrown around for decades as the worst striker we have had and he managed 9 in one season in the prem. Daka will have a lasting impact for years to come
