I have just seen this will be 17 years, to the day, where we won the League 1 title, away at Southend.

What an amazing away day that was, I can't see this one being quite so joyous!!!

Bookies seem to be offering odds in the region of 23/20, 11/10 or 6/5 on a Portsmouth win.

So if anyone knows Portsmouth are going to win, I would strongly recommend putting £1000 on it.    Easiest £1000+ you'll ever make.

Why would you only make 100 to 150 quid if you put a grand on?

We'll get bullied. Theyll be in our faces, physical and absolutely hammer us. As soon as the first heavy challenge goes in we will shy out.

3-1 defeat

With the quotes from Rowett about a not so polished but tougher line up I can see Hamza, Aribo and hopefully James in for Winks, Mavididi and either Mukasa or Fatawu, with Aribo in a wide position, James possibly wide too, maybe narrowing the 5 man midfield to something approaching compact.

We will play decent for 25 min they’ll score and we will do what we always do and capitulate!

Hamza playing in front of a baying Pompey crowd with instructions to be tough?

Might as well give him his red card now and save his bus fare.

Having temporarily lost my mind by thinking we’d beat Swansea, normal service has resumed and I’m back to thinking this will be a comfortable loss.

This has the potential to not just be a loss but a big one at that. Portsmouth 4-0 Leicester.

Yes they will be every thing we can't compete with.

Direct, aggressive and determined.

All I know is that we are unlikely to score and they'll get at least 2

We certainly looking at all the fixtures need to win 3 if not all four of our remaining games and 'great escape' aside I just don't see this team coming close to doing that. Win the next two on the bounce and I might dare to have a microcosm of hope.

Have to completely rip up the previous plan and go old school.....ditch Thomas....ditch Fattawu, Mukasa and Mavididi and stick Souttar up front....start Aribo....play Daka off Souttar...start James and go long ball.

We literally have to do something/anything different and see if it sticks

Souttar cant play - especially up front.
