Looking forward to next season we can confirm that each season ticket holder will have their own personal steward. They will show you to your seat and also keep you supplied with food and drink.

To me, all the bad English pastiches of "we promote" in this thread are one rung down from pulling your eyes wide and doing an accent.

 

It would be unacceptable if you did it in a public square, so it should be unacceptable in here.

I think there’s a difference between mocking his English and using that quote as shorthand for how out of touch he was. “We promote” is being quoted because it perfectly captures the attitude at the top of the club, not because people find his English funny.

 

I agree that leaning into broken English pastiches isn’t great, but most people aren’t doing that. They’re pointing out how wildly wrong the statement was. It’s just a very succinct, memorable way of summing up the situation we’re in.

When I look back on the last ten years and what we’ve achieved together, it makes me so proud.

 

We’ve won the Premier League, the FA Cup, the Community Shield and been in some unforgettable trips around Europe. We did that together.

 

But undoubtedly we’ve had some setbacks. This season, we weren’t able to fully reach our objective and forces outside of our control have ultimately decided our fate. But we must now come together as a Leicester City family and come back stronger. Together.

 

Next year is about a fresh start. It’s about unity and bringing us back to what made us fearless. Don’t shout at meh. Thank you for your support

Club will compete in League One next season a challenge the entire club is relishing and working hard towards. 
 

The club would also like to wish the chairman and chief football officer all the best in their new marriage. In an invite only ceremony which included the Ginetta’s and Phil from Leicester fan tv, the love birds finally said I do after years of living in secret. 
 

Khun Top, with a smile confirmed Jon would play bad cop tonight.

My Thai is dreadful.  Well, non-existent, but then I haven't been running a Thai football team for 12 years. 

 

He has studied business at Bangkok University and worked in international business for years.  The international language of business being English of course. 

 

Top should do better.  'We promote' shows that he is an idiot or that he has spent so little time here that he hasn't even bothered to pick up the basics. 

 

I'll continue to mock him for his crap English and I'll mock him for being a short arse and I'll mock him most of all for being a buffoon who has destroyed my football club and I will not be asking for any body else's approval or permission

We are acknowledging our history of the club by looking to re-trace it's path of 18 years ago by getting relegated into league 1.
