How can there be a divide can’t people see what’s been going on for the last few seasons, honestly don’t know how people get on in the real world if not.

I've actually seen a lot of the deluded KPFC lot blaming us now for the decline. It's because of the toxic atmosphere we create apparently.

But is it? Have the 'happy clappers' been singing 'Rudkin out'? Obviously they haven't.

Yes it. They won’t sing it as that’s just not in their style but if you go on Facebook now, loads are admitting to that Rudkin should go.

I think there are 3/4  groups of fans at the moment.

Group 1: Are the people who were still clapping after the game although there were a few are in the minority and as far as going forward can be ignored don't argue with them there is not point don't attack them just let them be as like people have said if they can't see it now they probably never will.

Group 2: Are people that are aware of the problems but for are apathetic about it.

Group 3: Are people who are aware of the problems and are angry about it but go to the games with family or young kids so find the toxic environment difficult to deal with especially when the chants are crude

Group 4: Are the people who are angry and actively pushing for change

Groups 2 and 3 can be won over to push for change but the right environment needs to be pushed to do this. Yes show anger at the players but maybe tone down the aggression, have chants that are not rude/crude so people with families feel like they can bring there kids to the protests and join in with the chants against the players and the board at the stadium.

If this is achieved I think we will start to see more and more people joining the protests and thats how we bring people together

Be good :dunno:

Getting rid of Rudkin will be start because at least it removes that conversation.

Essentially we need a team and/or manager who can galvanise everyone.

We've been relegated to League One, we've been up to our eyeballs in PSR trouble, the club is run like a non-league outfit, we've been relegated with the highest wage bill in the champ.....if some fans are so thick they think this is all because of a bit of booing from some other fans, then we really have no hope of uniting the fans. I literally cannot understand how some fans cannot see what's happening right in front of their eyes.

I think it is a childhood issue with some people. Maybe they didn't grow up with a significant figure in their lives, a father figure or something similar, and now choose to follow Top despite what he's done to the club....almost unwavering support that a mother might have of her son who's just committed a heinous crime. That kind of stuff.

I can't understand it's any other reason.

Decent shout. There really is a lot of things in life that you can put down to people having ‘daddy issues’

Never as far as I'm concerned.

Any talk of Vichai is fine with me. I have every respect for him.

As far as Top King Power anyone bigging them up can fvck right off until the day I die.

Anyone that supports the destruction of our club is as bad as the cvnts doing it.

Yes I'm fvcking angry.

60yrs old and I've never felt like this about our club.

I don't care and won't care until Top and Rudderless fvck off or die.

I guess Top was laughing last night as we got relegated like the Liverpool game.

Unfortunately it’s not something that can be resolved it’s human nature, it happens in all arenas not just sports. Trying to fix it is the same as a dog chasing their tails it’s a endless loop.

Only way for us all to be happy is if Top sells up, taking Rudkin and co with him and we then get a fresh, hungry owner in who makes us a well oiled machine again.

Unfortunately though we all know that Top will not sell the club and will definitely not sack Rudkin so unfortunately we will be divided until things change.

Probably won’t ever be resolved. I’ll never forget how some just stood by, applauded, and just responded with ‘back the lads’ whilst we slowly died.

I see these in worse light than forest and cov fans, genuinely

Yet never try to create a positive atmosphere themselves.

But that's just it.... there's a decent amount of people who think we should trust in the process and support the lads.

I know it sounds insane, but these people believe that, and aren't going anywhere. How do we bridge that gap???

You don’t they’ll die off slowly.

to appease the fan base then as a bare minimum Rudkin needs the chop instantly.

we need to tear up contracts for certain players and move them out ASAP.

return to a black away shirt with a light blue sash. this will solve most problems imo.

Do it properly, this time. The 23/23 one was shit.

Madness. I had it with fan near me not so long ago who said it’s nothing to do with Rudkin so I do believe you 🤣

I've been supporting city for well over 35 years. I've clapped when others have booed.

I sit in the Kop at the front so can see the players upclose - their body language, what they're saying, their nervousness, anger, all the emotion we too feel and more. Many of them look like children to me the older I get. Some of them aren't much older than my own.

At the last home game against Swansea for the first time in years at the final whistle my own anger bubbled over and I joined the chorus of boos but - stopped immediately as some the players turned towards the fans. I was angry, some of them made eye contact like schoolboys in trouble, empathy changed my reaction. They don't know what to do or say. I don't know what to do or say. Everyone is deflated.

I missed last night's Hull game. When we last got relegated to League 1 I was sat in the Kop further away. I was younger and hurled some choice vitriol but none of it carried, it was impersonal. Maybe I need to be angrier, maybe it achieves nothing anyway. Apathy set in long ago and now it's mostly habit carrying me to filbert way. I join in songs when others don't but mustering the heart to sing has felt like a chore.

My season ticket seems to have auto-renewed but I can't imagine I would have let it lapse in despondency. Hope is very expensive, as Top has found out...

I don't think the fanbase is divided as much as this thread is suggesting. We're collectively angry, soon there will be grief. Whether Top continues I don't know but Top has to show there is change afoot - retiring Rudkin will send the right signal and pacify the majority of us. He has no obvious circle of footballing advisors around him so what happens next is anyone's guess, including Top's.

Wednesday wasn’t for a good two to three years until it actually started to affect the playing squad

True I suppose I forgot as you don't really see it as an outsider

It is surprising how many people outside of Leicester City do not realise how divided our fan base currently is

There will be some, like the "what does booing achieve, support the lads" group who will never call for change and are happy to detach their experience from the running of the club. They will go to games, clap the players no matter what because "thats just football". And I think the more others boo and protest, the more that group will clap. Winks told a fan to **** off the other, and when he came to take a corner near SK1 he was booed, but it made this group clap more than they would have done.

I've thought about making a little one page infogram thing listing all the recent issues to post in response to these people, listing things like the number of managers, £ms lost on contracts running down, size of wage budget, time taken to find new managers, the huge financial losses, players signed and never used, etc. but I just don't think it would register with them.

We'll be divided until the leadership sorts thier **** out, or we're sold. Both a worringly unlikely.

The people who claim they back the lads should actually do it. We would have a fantastic atmosphere if they left Facebook and contributed.
