Just find it hard to believe. We didnt offer Ings and Antonio a contract after a trial because of their medical record but we’d  just offer a bloke whos been injured for two years a contract without a trial

Difference is, Adebayo is 28, had 2 injuries (admittedly one being an ACL). It’s different to one almost having his legs amputated and another that has a track record of injuries.

If they are not very clearly miles better than otchere I don’t want to bring them in. Nothing about this guy feels right. He’s another that was part of multiple relegations and seemed to disappear when things got tough.

And to think at the time we were a PL club fighting for our lives, and RVN was under the impression he was going to get coaching staff and some signings.

Are you sure about this? Nothing suggests we have a scouting network. We just go off what players the managers are familiar with and names from a list of players scouted years ago.

 

Agents are probably our scouts now and accountants looking for psr fiddles.

also, @StanSP can confirm I told a WhatsApp group with him and a few people about Souttar putting in a transfer request a few weeks back and the interest in Ballard and Adebayo
