Without a option to buy him back, no. 

 

Rather develop our own than develop players for Liverpool how they stolen off us in the first place.

I would tend to agree except he is the exact kind of profile we need, a technical, strong midfielder who would add some height into the team.

 

It's unlikely he would take the step down to league one anyway but if the option's on the table I think it would be worth it. I think he would compliment Braybrooke and Page rather than compete with them.

Can’t help but take to him a little bit more every time I hear him speak - exactly what I wanted any new manager to say and do so far - yes the lron test will come with the results but for someone who got the most abysmal abuse from plenty on here I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt so far

I think he's been fed lies like the rest. I wouldn't be surprised if this changes to. "We'll get a striker in before the first league game of the season". And then "we're hoping to get one before the window closes" then "we tried, but there wasn't the right option with the right mentality to suit the group"

A striker proven striker is a must, it was a real problem last season and one I hoped we'd address first. But alas not

I actually thought Martí was pretty aware of our limitations, and listening to him, it seems like Martin is well aware too.

 

People really need to wrap their heads around how bad a position we're in with Squad Cost Management rules and our general finances.
