Really can’t see KP letting a minority investor from the UK having visibility of all their weird financial shenanigans

Bc Game anyone

If there’s a minority investor it’ll be Asian

I don’t think the family are prepared to put any more of their wealth into the club (in any significant manner)

an Asian investor would want something concrete for a minority stake - there is no kudos in having some ownership of Lcfc and we are so far from recovering a solid PL status that an investment looks totally unattractive.

I wouldn't entirely rule out KP choosing administration over opening the books. A Pandora's box if ever there was one.

Assume the importance of bouncing straight back has been made and losing 12 points via administration (and possibly more via existing breaches) means that administration would make the club totally uninvestable given that some debts still have to be settled.  Admin could see the club go completely ???

Hi Foxes fans #Fearless.

Yeah it's me and my gang of asset strippers, we fully intend on giving Russell Martin a 5 year contract.

The occupancy rate for a 5 star hotel wouldn’t be great and teams playing away at  Villa would stay in Birmingham rather than being an hour away.

The stadium is worth that only if you have a tenant (i.e LCFC) so to maintain the asset you’d need to spend £40m p/a to keep the club alive to protect a £30m asset

many teams playing in London stay an hour away from the stadium given London traffic

the benefits of being at seagrave are strong

why do you think that occupancy at a five star hotel in that area would be low ?  Golf course on site - how many top quality hotels are there.  I still think that 30m valuation for seagrave is decent security.

The stadium must be able to be demolished and be built upon?  Alternatively the tigers could sell welford road and buy the stadium.

There are plenty of businesses that can afford the club particularly at the moment with low ball offers incoming.

I don’t think there are many companies as such that own clubs. It’s normally an individual, what rich individuals are there in Leicestershire, particularly ones good at restructuring? This club needs a huge restructuring excercise carrying out, a serious round of redundancies, I suspect it won’t be popular especially among the KPFC loyalists. The Club really needs to be in a position where it is sustainable on its revenue.

They need to make better use of the assets. I’d probably make Seagrave into a spa hotel and golf course resort (business away day venue) , mothball the football parts and return to Belvoir Drive. Does the turf bit make any money? The retail, ticketing and catering need a massive review, been third rate since KP came in, a massive missed opportunity when you see what some clubs are doing. Could look at some clever modern revenue streams too on top of season tickets, in fact the whole ticket model at present is dated.

David Wilson Homes?

They operate as Davidsons homes now and a lot smaller operation in comparison to Bloor homes, hard to imagine it’s not Bloor homes with their turnover figures being the only realistic option to afford a stake in a football club.

Agree with this, marketing could do more to get people down, l remember Just the Ticket season ticket in a section of the ground, when we were in league one, ticket prices will be have to be looked at maybe sell in three or five games, with a discount, create in the intrest

Sell it to that Saudi prince you mentioned in your interview Top, you know the one with a £150b account to make us into the next Man City but less corrupt !

Or even that relative of the Brunei king who used to play for us who has more billions than Ronaldo !!😜😉

No local consortium is buying us.

Even if Leicestershires richest families purchased us, we wouldn’t be anywhere near the wealth the required to run a top tier football club.

Saudi are not 'investing' in sport as much and are pulling out in some areas.

I wouldn't want to get involved in that.

If it is an investment group, hopefully they would have someone hands on running the club day to day, which obviously Rudkin has completely failed to do and clearly what Top wants, judging by his absence for the last 5/6 seasons. Make us successful again   and begin getting a return on the investment.

Football clubs largely are operated poorly. The rely too much on loyalty but treat those loyal fans so badly. Actually if you treat fans as customers properly, they are likely to get a better experience overall. No real business could get away with treating customers with such contempt and expect them still to come! There is a whole world of revenue opportunities the football clubs don’t even look at. They are lazy because so much money comes from TV.

Realistically...how much are we worth... what would it actually cost to buy LCFC?

Top end a league 1 club is worth 30 million. Which is a problem.

Leicestershire isn’t a massive tourist hotspot (although numbers are growing) there would big operating costs for a five star hotel - way greater than Seagrave already costs plus the capital to convert it. What do you do with 15 pitches?

The Tigers wouldn’t want to leave Welford Rd (a guess) or go through that upheaval especially after redeveloping recently for an higesde of what - 6k in capacity?

How does that rule us out?
