Christ that's shocking.

Honestly feel they should have saved this for closer to pre season. Get WC done, show change of direction and have some players available to come down. Do it July when the kids are just finishing and get a load of freebies to the schools.

The various other uses of the pitch are usually completed by the end of May, they then replace the pitch and its timed to be ready in time for the new season.

That’s the normal cycle

I haven’t agreed with the event but I’ve felt the digging at people going has been really uncalled for. Can’t blame people for using a spare Saturday afternoon watching people who brought them a lot of joy. If you haven’t smiled at least one of the social media videos of them together, you are lying

Totally agree, sick of posters on here pointing fingers at those who wanted to enjoy a celebration of one of the highlights of their lives.

If it wasn’t for you fine, just don’t go but stop telling others what they should or shouldn’t do

I’ve not smiled once. If anything it made me more angry.

But you want to see lots of goals and playing enjoying themselves. 0-0 tells you they took it way too seriously and had no quality to go with it.

Somebody said it was bringing back the memories so I flicked it on for a few mins. Quality was absolutely abject (and we've got a good reference point for that!)

You’ll find recently retired professionals won’t think that way. They still want to win. On both sides.

Have you tried some anger management training ?

Infact, if anyone on here runs a course on this topic, there could be a Foxestalk block booking 😀

Oh yeah funny. I would consider it to be more odd not to be angry at the way our club is being run into the ground to be fair but each to their own.

If people like you didn’t think the way you do then there’d be no anger management necessary

The relentless bashing of this fixture is tiring. Okay, we know it wasn’t for you. I attended and am able to put the shit show of last two seasons (even five years) aside. Just because you are angry at the club doesn’t mean you

a) have to always be

and

b) everyone else has to be.

stop ramming it down everyone’s throat how unhappy you are and let people get on with what they want to do.

its the same posters and it is becoming extremely boring.

Will in that same tone can you lot give it a rest as well, must have read 10 posts about this already, youre just as bad the same people telling everyone not to go,GIVE A REST NOW,EVERYONE GETS YOUR MESSAGE!!!

So these guys must be way more professional than most players, as in the legendary footballers, given these games normally end in with lots of goals. Interesting.

A better idea. Or maybe they could have even decided to announce this game several months before they actually did. I know that's a bit out there as they only had 10 years to think about it.

In all seriousness, when you've got certain publicly players saying that the club hasn't told them if they have if anything planned, that's embarrassing. They left it way too late anyway, let alone considering the doom and gloom around the place by the time they announced the game. Even for this club, that's embarrassingly bad.

And then the actual lineup is without the 3 genuine world class players in that team, and the next closest player to that grouping, even if slightly out of their control in Kasper's case with his injury. But as you say, had they changed the timing of it, you might have been able to get Kante and Mahrez. Ended up with guys who were not part of that title win/not even very liked by fans (St Ledger for example)

Then the final major flaw, was the team they were up against. Not expecting the best players of all time but crazy that they didn't at least get some stars in there. A bit harsh, but it was a bunch of the most no name/uninspiring players imaginable. The fact an exhibition game ended 0-0, shows you how embarrassing it all was.

This was probably the only time in this summer period they could actually do it because of the World Cup

During it you would likely have quite a few of them off doing media duties, post World Cup and you would be into a lot of teams pre-seasons and clubs away on camps so the likes of Kante, Mahrez, and Vardy and any other still active pro's wouldn't be able to come - also they probably wouldn't be allowed to play anyway

I actually wish I could have gone to this game but there were a few factors stopping me. I fully feel people can act on what they feel best is for them.

At the minute the state of the club makes me really angry, I love those players, that manager, probably the club but being around it ran by the current incompetents making **** up after **** up makes it very difficult and not enjoyable for me to be there, not to mention a hug waste on money.

It’s so obvious the club needs to return to its routes, its identity. We have never been the possession dominator. Who says possession football is entertainment anyway? I want goals and attacking intent along with resolute defence and fighting spirit, we have none of that.

The current squad, the ownership, the management aren’t fit to clean the boots of that team of legends, they did all deserve better, I hope one day the club can do better whilst Claudio is still alive. It wants a full stadium and a proper opposition.

It was a vanity project masked as a charity event. The BC game print being more visible on the shirts than the charity spoke

Do you have an image of the shirt to support that?

This is the shirt they wore, how is the BC Game more visible than the Vichai symbol?
