Such a ****ing predictably disastrous appointment. This was never, ever going to go well. I ****ing loathe Top and Rudkin. It's breathtaking how utterly ****ing stupid those two are.

Russell is finished after this. He's just lucky he had these two bozos desperate to give him one last big pay off

I like listening to Henry and I know he lives in the local area but you'd think arguably the most established sports journalist in the country has better things to do than watch us.

What a horrible interview that was.

Hes a sh!t head, no doubt about it..

Blaming the young lads and saying they lack experience and cant play 3 games!  But he subbed off bobby and burns for what you guessed  it more young lads.

Hes a walking bull crapper that wont take blame for nowt,  burns and bobby are a problem, why did howell get pulled off at 55mins after scoring a goal? Then gets dropped to the bench.

Thats great for moral .

He has got to go

Doesn’t matter who’s up top when we don’t create openings, overlaps, cutbacks or try and create havoc with long balls/second balls.

It does not matter who is playing up front for us atm.

Sorry I meant the 4 year deal is honking

Russell Martin doing what Russell Martin does

Yes ..  There's no real surprises here. This is what he does & this is how he loses & then tells the world he's playing beautiful football.

I've tried to refrain from judging him too early and wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, after all we can't keep sacking managers every 6 months.

However, after that abysmal performance today, what tipped the balance for me was how quick he was to head off down the tunnel at FT. He needed to own that performance today and take the focus off the players, but quite frankly he didn't have the b*llocks to face up to the fans and take it.

As such I hope he gets shown the door tonight. If not, he has to go if we fail to beat Stockport.

Should never have been interviewed let alone appointed.

Exactly he is completely wrong for division one

This three games in a week excuse is nonsense because Oxford had three games too and a smaller squad.  Also, our lot only play walking football anyway

So we need more learning and better energy....if he had lost 0-4 at home in the league with Rangers, you can be sure the Rangers fans would have given him lots of learning and plenty of energy.

Unfortunately the rot has been happening long before Martin has been here. While Martin is the manager of course, blame at his door for awful tactics, football and subs, the rot won’t stop until King Power have gone.

I am at the point now that I want us to lose.  Partly because I enjoy moaning but mainly because the sooner we sack Martin the sooner we might be able to salvage this season.  We have the squad to be challenging for promotion as a minimum but the managers tactics are like a giant invisible handbrake.

Same the more we lose the quicker this clown is sacked. Then we can move on

Sack the arrogant pr*ck now. Never accountable for his own mistakes. We need change now! Losing at home to Burton and Oxford is unacceptable

He's so arrogant that he will never admit to his own shortcomings and blame everyone else.

Imagine being a young inexperienced player coming on as a sub to do the best you can then be essentially slated in the post match interview by your manager instead of him putting a comforting arm around your shoulders and being told you did well, I'll make it better for you.

The man is a creep. Never wanted him, now want rid ASAP before any more damage is done.

Because there’s a book still being written. We’re kind of at the Beatles stage where Lennon was about to be shot and 2016 was our 1968.

Didn’t we read somewhere that this was Top’s appointment and that Rudkin had already turned Martin down on a couple of occasions?

if that’s the case, Top needs to get his fkin hand in his pocket and pay this clown off immediately

I think we’re probably at least two (or more) consecutive losses away from a sacking. Even a draw or two will likely save his skin, and a win will reset the clock.

Today was humiliating, particularly after the guarded optimism of last Tuesday.

Love this analogy - hope it’s true! Hopefully we won’t be constantly reminded of Yesterday and the lads Come Together as we have a Ticket To Ride back to the Premier League 🙏
