After Tuesday’s win, the transfer window and the academy lads doing so well when he selected them as the core of the team I was really optimistic and even questioned all our  collective hatred for RM. he is a lazy / terrible coach. Doing the same thing over and over again, and losing constantly for the last 3 seasons. Is not coaching!

Thats not a good thing, good manager like MoN and Pearson say play to players strengths and the need to adapt to opponents, thats the opposite of being obsessed with tippy tappy every game.

I suspect, as a few of us did with Rodger’s, RM is angling for the sack. He’s never getting another gig, so why hang around when he’s guaranteed 3 years pay.

The players were so casual it was a joke...

 

We are losing and they are taking an age to take throw-ins, corners and free kicks. No pace on any of the deliveries, no tempo, playing at walking pace.

 

Always remember Riyad Mahrez telling a ball boy to hurry when we were once losing in the prem - you could see the desperation to win.

 

These lads have no sense of urgency what so ever and it seems as though they feel they've made it once they are in the first team squad.

My mum says we should get Nigel ‘Pearce’ (sic) back and I agree. I have a dream that when KP eventually **** off, the new owners ceremonially rip off all the KP indoctrinated shite in the stadium. Stick statues of proper legends around the ground and move the Vichai statue to the garden (where he should’ve began in the first place) AND then announce Nigel as our new manager. Imagine the scenes!

He probably lives on the crappy processed vegan shite that’s readily available these days. It’s a healthy diet if you do it properly. Plus the hideous oversized clothes he insists on wearing probably doesn’t help either.

This is different. Rodgers had a lot of credit in the media, pundits were still calling him world class at the time he left us. It was his second stint in Celtic that finally wised everyone up to him. 
 

The similarities are in ego. RM is pure ego and he will never ever deviate from what he ‘believes in’. All he believes in is the lovely puff piece in the media if he ever proves someone wrong (he wont).

I can accept a manager having a boring identity if its getting results, as not staying in this league and not going bust is the priority. There will of course be off days.

 

But I can't accept playing like you're winning when you're 4-0 down at home. Its the same setting. If it wasn't working by that point, why are you doing the same ****ing shit over and over again.

This implies that we are morons that didn't realise that Martin was footballing Kryptonite.  As if we are surprised that Martinball doesn't work and as if we appointed the clown.

I dont think he is the issue.

 

The issue is we played this football under Enzo. Then went and got Cooper who was so different and then every style since has been different.

 

The real randomness of our appointments has meant we have lost our identity as a club and the players dont know what to do. We need to stick with a style and run with it.

It’s even worse because on Tuesday we stated to seem like they were getting it. The CB passing to Page quickly so he can drive forwards.

 

This whole game was Luke Thomas walking to the halfway line and starting the attacks, by passing down the middle. Once this failed a counter attack was on every time. 

 

He had a plan B that works and chose not to adapt even after what he was seeing wasn’t working.

We literally slapped one of his teams 4-1 and 5-0 in the same season. I'm sure we knew all about his football long before the vast majority of Rangers fans did.
