Something seems to be shifting in the glacial intelligences that run our club. It seems, finally, that they are beginning to realise that Russell Martin might just be the clueless nob we all said he was. 
 

However the joy might be short-lived as Lennon is being talked about, with Rob Edwards being the current favourite. Hmm. 
 

personally I’d like Challinor or Dyche. Probably got more chance of signing Messi than getting Dyche, but you never know. Stranger things have happened - we won the Prem.

I do believe that if they bin him off now and get Challinor in then there is still time for the season to be saved somewhat.

He had to get off to a very good start to win a lot of people over i.e. win 5 or more of his first 8 league games, but he's gotten off to a dreadful start.

He's got off to a start which perfectly reflects his managerial history. About 33% win rate, conceding stupid goals, high possession and crap chance creation. It's crazy anyone expected much difference tbh.

I pinned all of my hopes on the one decent season he's had in his entire managerial career. Even then he went up via the play-offs with a team that should have finished on more than 90 points and properly challenged for automatics.

At least 10 games on the trot for me, most like me didn't really want him so 2 or 3 wins ain't gonna cut it,especially if they are like the Plymouth or Stockport wins those ain't sustainable anyway.

this isn't playing like man city? the similarities start and end at "having possession" (and this is why the moniker of possession football is worthless, because there's hundreds of tactics you can execute while having more than 50% of the ball).

You know what's funny about that, the club spent all last season posting training videos, now we just get photos. 

 

Which will absolutely be a directive from the manager.

This is so true. The comparison is quite a lazy one. Liverpool under Klopp, for example, had more possession than the opposition in the vast majority of games. Atletico Madrid dominate possession in most of their La Liga games and it doesn't look anything like how we're playing either.
