The club are going to have to sack Brussel. They might as well just get on with it.

Trouble is they’re as clueless as some who post here. Couple of wins against teams we absolutely should be beating and they think we’ve turned a corner. The possession messiah will see us get promote. I mean he like will, but into league 2

If a club like Man Iud cant pick a successful  manager since Fergie left what chance has Rudkin and Toppy boy got?

I was going to put 2000, but then I thought that might have been the Spurs one? Ah well I stand corrected

Spurs was 1999 ;)

How long do they stick with him that’s the mystery? Surely a loss tomorrow would see him get the boot but I just can’t see it. They are very stubborn and trust the process. I reckon they’ll give him till end of Feb to see where we are at. Then give it to Kingy till the end of the season by that time will be lingering just above the bottom 3

If Martin gets us relegated. Top will lose £150m off the asking price. Our wonderful leaders can’t see that or won’t see that

they were still talking about promotion to the prem for this season in January, they obviously won't consider relegation a possibility this season

Rudkin was speaking about the Prem 2 weeks ago 😂.

I'm concerned that they keep him till the end of the season.  History tells them when they've sacked someone mid season they've actually been unable to recruit anyone decent

"Surely if he loses this one he's gone" - the amount of times this has been said (Enzo aside) over the last 5 years lol

It's got to be more than any other club in the football league.

He'll be sacked at some point his season, unfortunately his legacy will stay with us for much longer with the shit players he's signed.

I've seen nothing to suggest Burns, Chaplin, Lundstram, Smallbone, Bristic, O'Hora and Cullen will be any different under a new manager.

That's a great point.

Yes but they've also struggled to recruit anyone decent at the start of a season too (Enzo aside)

Perhaps a change of approach may be needed? Possibly? Something for Little John to think about?

Can we send Jon boy to watch PSG maybe he can become obsessed with playing like them instead of Man City.

Quite clearly a club signing

A Luton away loss in isolation is not the end of the world. The standard in this division is appalling and they are one of the better teams. However, he's built up no good will with so many results which on their own are probably sackable offences.

Luton aren't that good tbh, they are managed better for sure,  and you could make that argument for all of the team's above us, all of them have better managers than us.

The issue is the start we made doesn’t allow for off days like that. This is why it will cost us. I still think we will go on a run but we will look back at the horrific start and say it cost us going up.

They're super patchy. I don't think there are any great sides in the division. Agreed on the managers.

Yeh I agree. Some very nice fixtures and we pissed them away.

Yes, because RM went on record in the summer to say the attacking recruitment was complete, with Bristric, Cullen + Bobby Reid, then we're signing Riis after a few games

76.8 - the average to get into the top six the last five years.

So we need 20 wins and 2 draws / 21 wins from 35 games. Saving grace is that this season its shaping up to be lower due to the lack of consistency.

Mad it's only October and we are already discussing playoffs rather than automatic promotion.
