Whist I am sure Russell dearly wants (and needs) success, but he will be paid in full, and therefore employment and wages, will still be delivered good or bad. I have been pleasantly surprised by him, good communication, handled tricky transfers, and suggesting not done yet…..on to Nottingham…..

We need a jock Wallace Pearson,Fergusson type manager and an owner with bollox.

See that sand hill, run up and down it till your dead or fvck off.

Id fvck off 60% of the squad in the first training session.

I'd end up with a squad with bollox like water melons and up for any fight.

Sadly i dont see it in any of these ****s. I,d break the lot or fvck em off in a week.

Are any of your players able to play football or just run up to old John in an August heatwave ?

Grown men still calling him "Brussel" then.

1968 presumably his birth year!

It's annoying like "Manure" and Steve "Pooper"

Russell has done well in preseason but the real job starts on Saturday. He know the task at hand which is promotion to the Championship.

We have put together a decent squad for the job, I just worry we are light a Striker and the squad is quite big.  It's hard to keep that many players happy.

Save the OPA X post. What are the odds that RM is complaining in November the reason the team are languishing in mid table is because he only has one striker who is serving his third ban of the season due to the number of yellow cards!

What the odds RM never said it and OPA has just stated they are the options at present.

Another X post with that is more clear, we need to focus on other areas but there is still two weeks left of the window.

Yeah, I re-read OPA’s post. It’s misleading to say the least. The defence looks worryingly unsettled so I imagine that’s where the focus will be. We need those two weeks.

I remain sceptical about anything positive happening at the club due to the scars of the disastrous last few seasons, it makes hard to adopt a positive outlook. I / we need to give him time but patience remains in short supply.

My concern is that we have young players that haven’t yet peaked, signed a group of players that are probably past their peak. We need players who are firing now, but unfortunately players of that form and calibre would not be interested in joining LCFC
I hope I’m proved wrong but I’m not that confident we will get promoted

Yeah tragic isn’t it.

Wouldn’t have been too difficult to nip Everards Jennos.

A bit like us, if every manager turns out the be awful, it tends to tell you more about the club than it does the individual manager.

Beales record was good, Rohl form fell off a cliff and they finished like how RM started

I think both clubs giving managers only 6 months isn't helping their individual situation.

I've always found that good young players adapt quite quickly, there will be the odd mistake but I'm confident in them.

The worry is that Senior players will just go through the motions and not give it a real go.                                                                                                                                                                                             Also It's very hard to keep everyone happy, As the Team settles Russell could have a mutiny on his hands from the one's not getting a game.

I didn't like him when we were linked with him every 6 months, I didn't like him when he was absolutely dogshit for Rangers, I didn't like him when we appointed him, I didn't trust him despite him saying all the right things during preseason, I ****ing hate him now I've seen our CBs get mugged about 7 times in 150 minutes of football.

We're actually a parody of the style of football he and Top idolises.

Get this p***k out!
